St. Phillips Maple

Consistently delicious. Fresh bread, pastries, hot table and deli. I am never disappointed. There is the odd moody cashier, but I don't let that ruin my experience of great food. The place is always busy, so I am definitely certain, the employees are tired and have many tasks to fulfill, so it's not going to make me knock stars off because of that! Thanks always. Have a nice day!Next time I will hopefully have pics instead of eating everything, but the smell is irresistible!

Food - My sister specifically loves their white mouse cake. Every time we get it for her birthday. They do Italian desserts well! So many verities and their cannoli are the best. Very rich, and very sweet.They also, do bread, meat, and even prepared food!Service - Great service, ordering from them was easy! They were friendly, a bit confusing in the inside but overall we were able to get the sweets.Ambiance - They do more than just desserts. They have an eat in! section! Which I love. Warm wood, clean, and just a lovely atmosphere.Accessibility - Getting around isn't too bad. Everything is on the ground floor.Overall, love this staple of Italian greatness in Vaughan!

Fantastic Italian pastries as always.Be careful with the hot savoury food that they serve. We recently went on a weekday around 3 pm and after the first bite, it was evident everything had sat around for hours since the lunch rush. Food was dry and overheated.Don't get their coffee either as that doesn't have much flavour. Must be the choice of beans.

Just had breakfast here and I have to say it was awesome. Decaf cappuccino with oak milk plus a grilled prosciutto panino. Not only was the food very good but the service was amazing. Elvira helped me and she was friendly, kind, fast and very knowledgeable. So many times you go into these small bakeries and shops and get brushed off by the staff. Not here. Elvira was great! Great job guys! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

heard so many great reviews on google and had to check it out myself. great bakery and 3 locations of amazing pastries, cakes and deli items! everything was great and especially loved the sfogliatella and cannoli! the focaccia was on point with the best combination of sweet and savoury! I usually buy buns or loaves of bread from this bakery. Recently, I picked up croissants from this bakery and they were delicious. They always have an amazing selection of baked goods here. One of the last few amazing Italian bakeries in Maple.

Gotta give 5 stars-everything from this place if delicious.Price is bit on high side but we are paying for qualityBuns and rolls always so fresh

I recently purchased a cake for my daughter’s communion on April 22,2023. The day started off great and the party and dinner were awesome! Then we had the cake to celebrate my daughter’s big day. We started eating the cake and my 7 year old daughter turned to me with tears in her eyes and said,daddy I feel something hard in my mouth! I told her to cough it out in a napkin. She did, upon further inspection she had coughed up a piece of metal wire about 1 inch long. At that moment I advised all my guests to stop eating the cake! Apparently the wire was used for decorating the cake,at the top of the wire were supposed to be edible flowers,but that was not the case. A couple of hours later I received a call from my mother. She too had swallowed a piece of wire as well. She managed to vomit the piece before it did any further damage to her insides.The very next day my wife and I went to St Phillips to speak with the owner Sandy Bozzo.He showed no remorse knowing that a 7 and 83 year old could have severely been injured or worse! He was defending his cake and how the flowers were decorative and that’s way it is.There was no warning from any of the staff advising us to remove any of these supposedly edible flowers.It’s fair to say I will never purchase anything from St Phillips ever again!Please be careful if you purchase a cake from there.

Unfortunately my experience with St. Phillips Bakery was not a good one. I ordered a cake for February 4th, for a combined birthday with my sons and their dad. The cake looked beautiful, however one of the names from masculine was printed as feminine. It appeared correctly on the bill but not on the cake. I emailed the store on the Monday after and received no reply to my inquiry. If the electronic messages are not answered an email address for them should not be publicized. Obviously I felt that my order for a $65.00 cake did not warrant attention.I am not looking for compensation, but just an acknowledgement of the error, that goes a long way. I don't think I am going back, small orders are obviously insignificant.

Haven’t been here in a while, seems like the ambiance is the same, prepared food area and hot table was nicely full and organized, taste was good and fresh, price was reasonable for what we got! The only disappointment was ; no acknowledgment upon entering or while waiting to order some food. One cashier at lunch didn’t make sense with long lineup and after so many years of being there, come on owners spend some money on your display cases that are literally falling apart and not very appealing to the eye while looking at all your nice food on display. A little bit of upkeep goes a long way.
