We had a horrible experience with them We had a contract with them to remove snow for our Condo Association. The first snowfall they didn't come out until that evening, and it had snowed all day with more tgan a foot on the ground.They did a horrible job. Anthony was rude to condo associates and we ended up breaking the contract and paying him an extra $2000. They destroyed a lot of the landscaping with their plows which we will have to pay another company to repair.

Great customer service. , They respond very quickly. It was so nice not having to pull the weeds ourselves. Our yard use to have a lot of clover not so much now. I definitely recommend them .

We have been using Great Lakes for approximately two years, this season would be the start of our third.Initially, services were great. Our lawn started to look better, phone calls were answered, regular lawn visits were scheduled and we were happy customers.As of today, we terminated our contract with Great Lakes. The reason why: they were directed to simply knock on our door to make sure our dogs were in the house, so they could access the backyard safely.All of last year there were issues. Customer Service understood the importance of having their technicians knock on our door, notes were made to our file and phone calls were made; the technicians NEVER knocked to ensure their safety.This year, we have two dogs. One is 175 lbs and the other is 120 lbs. I called in the beginning of year to inform that we have a new addition to our family, so for the safety of our dogs and the safety of your technicians, all we ask is that you knock on our front door to ensure the dogs are in the house, so they can safely enter our backyard.The first visit this year consisted of a technician entering our backyard, without notifying us first, and then when he left, he left the gate open without us even knowing. Our dog got out in the neighborhood.Livid, I called Customer Service again. I stressed the importance of having the technicians knock on our door and also informed them that the technician that came on our property, was never allowed to set foot on it again.Great Lakes sent a senior technician to service our lawn the next time. It was perfect.TODAY: Great Lakes has been notified they are no longer servicing our house/lawn as we are terminating our contract with them. The technician entered our backyard without permission. Thankfully, both of our dogs were inside but as explained several times previously, this is not always the case.For something so simple, the technicians cannot follow direction, even when it comes to their own safety. I bet all it would take, would be for my dog to be out once when they entered, maybe then they would understand the importance of knocking on the door first.My advice, DO NOT HIRE IF YOU HAVE DOGS, their safety and the technician's safety is NEVER considered.

READ THE FINE PRINT!The company was recommended by a friend. I contacted them last year and had them come and apply mosquito control. Everyone I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful.As part of their follow-up, through the winter they sent several pieces of mail advertising their services for this year and soliciting pre-payment (with a discount). I had already decided not to use their services again, just to reduce expenses, so I did not respond.Today they showed up and applied the mosquito treatment on the lawn. I discovered, after the fact, that they had left me a voicemail message yesterday informing me of today's application. Had I answered that call or heard the message, I would have told them not to come.When I spoke to the office just now (again, to a very pleasant and helpful person), they told me that their services auto-renews. I had to look carefully at the bill they left for today's application to find, in small print, For your convenience

Don't waste your money on this place.After an entire summer of them treating my lawn I had just as many weeds as before. I don't think that their chemicals were any more effective than vinegar and water.

Not trustful company, jobs not finished from previous year, hired again due to a credit, twice booked and no show, had to fire and had refund done.

They were dishonest from the start.In 2017 we were quoted an amount and when they came they charged me for way more by leaving an invoice in my mailbox.( missed half my property too) They wouldn’t honour what they quoted so they canceled my invoice and didn’t return . Then a manager called me end of 2017 and offered me a deal (that was NOT a deal) saying it was cheaper then what they would be offering to other customers because of what happened earlier that year and he spent a half an hour of my time talking to me trying to make it right. Two days later someone else calls me (another manager) not even knowing that the other man had contacted me. I had to get them in contact with each other because nobody speaks to each other at that company. Once the season started that deal that was offered me For all my trouble was the deal they offered everyone in flyers around the city. After a few shows to the house I found still that they were incompetent.In 6 visits they had to return 5 times Because they either only did Two thirds of my yard or only did the front ( I had to babysit them constantly ) I would watch them when they came and tell them to knock on my door so I know they were here ( rarely did they do that) other times it was raining and they should not of even come but did anyway and treated it for no reason. They would of course have to return because it can’t heavy rain within 3 hrs of an application let alone while they are applying. But they wouldn’t take care of the appointments or reapplication. They would tell me I had to call for a reapply myself so I was constantly on the phone with them. ( what if you had been at work all day? You would never know that your application was not being taken care of properly as you were not there to see if it’s raining or they missed half your lawn ) all you would get is an invoice in your mailbox. I finally said enough I could do a better job myself and wasn’t waisting my money on this horrible service. I told them not to come back. The people who came were rarely professional , they never came when they were suppose to. The office never communicated with the front end. Many times they came and were gone in 4-5 mins ( if you saw my property that’s impossible ) of course they explained that away with complete nonsense.It was the Worst experience. If I ever did lawn care Again I would choose a small local business with lots of references.Even after all this they continued to call me for lawn care!!Many will say the office is great and yes they are wonderful, kind and do their job well but in the end it’s the job that matters that I’m paying for.

My lawn looked 100 times better last year and the year before when I handled weed control myself. The company promises repeat visits if the programmed weed control doesn't work. I repeatedly emailed, was finally told that weather is a challenge, was also told that follow up would happen and two weeks later it still hasn't. In the meantime the weeds have had the chance to spread which will now make getting rid of them even tougher. I will never use this company again.

Great service, professional and friendly staff, attention to detail while doing their job. Would definitely recommend this lawn care service!

Great experience with this company. Staff very friendly, polite and knowledgeable about products and weeds and insects. Biggest issue on my lawn is clover and creeping charlie and they have provided outstanding control for the problematic weeds.
