Beacon Hill Park
This is a beautiful and well thought-out park. There is a really tall totem pole, a tennis court, a lawn bowling (croquet for the Americans), a long beach walk, a series of groomed, wood chip trails through woods as well as concrete and a children's playground. While we were there we were lucky to come across a peacock, sparring for crumbs with a squirrel and an owl we interrupted the lunch hunt for. There were many birds, squirrels and creatures talking and singing as we walked through the woods. The beach trails is impressively long and gorgeous. There are many flowers still blooming in mid-June along the walking path. There is an unfenced, grassy area between the road and the beach path where dogs are allowed off leash. On the path, they are requested to be on-leash.The park is not large but packs a lot in for the space it takes. I would highly recommend a visit.Parking is free for up to three hours and thirty minutes. Washrooms are available in a brick and mortar building and are automatically flushing. They are gendered however.

What a beautiful park! So much to see and so many different areas to explore. We particularly liked the Moss Lady (harder to find than we thought!), the largest totem pole we have ever seen, all the different little lakes, and the stone bridge. We walked through this park to get to Spiral Beach, and we were glad we did. Great place to spent a few hours.

Beacon Hill Park
Just a beautiful well maintained park. Very diverse park that ranges from formal color plantings to giant fir forest, grassy meadows and hikes all the way to the wild rocky beaches that are spectacular!

Beacon Hill Park
Amazing sight to behold here. The peacocks, Canadian geese, and cranes fill the air with noise. The pathways and restroom facility are well maintained. The big trees, willows, and unique vegetation make for plenty of sights. Go to the beach after your walk in the park for an amazing contrast of nature.

Beacon Hill is gorgeous! We spent quite a few hours exploring and taking in all the lush nature and flowers. We could easily have spent a lot more time, too! There were plenty of hidden places to relax and sit. We saw a lot of ducks and geese, and quite a few peacocks and peahens as well.I'll write separate reviews but the Moss Lady, the Bandshell, and the children's farm and park were also spectacular stops! There was also a splash pad where we entered the park, styled like a giant waterer, but we weren't prepared with swimsuits so we did not stop here.behind every tree was a beautiful flower patch or garden, and the sounds and smells were divine. Tons of birds singing, tons of flowers blooming. I can't wait to go back!

Beacon Hill Park
Beautiful park! There are plenty of walking trails and biking areas, although you cannot bike in some areas. The worlds tallest totem poll is also pretty cool! I would love to visit in spring when the flowers are blooming.

Beacon Hill Park
Amazing views from shore. Lovely gardens worth the visit. Lots of place for picnic. But, not enough bathrooms for such a big place, even portables will work great on parkings.

Beacon Hill Park
Love this park! It's so well located in Victoria. My wife and I came here during a port stop during an Alaskan Cruise. It was so nice being able to walk and explore the park. This park is massive! Like it's huge! While walking we even saw a deer in the park - that's in the city! That is so mind-blowing for me!The park has a slight elevation, so some people may find it challenging - especially if you're from a flat state like Florida. But overall, the park is easy to walk through and offers stunning views.

Great place to visit. Beautiful scenery and a great place for kids. There was a water play area and playground. Pretty blooming flowers and lots of animals. Free roaming peacocks, herons, and lots of ducks. Be careful of the heron nesting area, amazing, but be sure to keep your mouth closed, while looking up.
