The quality of the house was not as good as expected and numerous items and errors were logged on the 30 Day and One Year Deficiencies documentation. The challenge I've had is trying to get Bromont to repair these deficiencies. The 30 Day list was conditionally signed off (way past the due date) as many items were still outstanding. These items were moved to the One Year list. There are still several items outstanding on the One Year list, which was submitted to Tarion and Bromont Homes at the end of October, 2015. Escalation to senior Bromont staff seems to be the only way to get action on the outstanding items. However, they only tackle a few items at a time and then move on to another house. I don't believe escalation would be required if there was an effective Customer Service model in place. In my opinion, Bromont loses interest in you the day after the house closes and they have your cash. If I had it to do all over again, I would have negotiated to retain a percentage of the payment that would be tied to the completion and sign-off of both the 30 Day and One Year Defiiciencies Lists. This way Bromont would have a vested interest in completing outstanding items. This is the second brand new home I've purchased in my lifetime and the the experience I had with my first brand new home was much more pleasant than the Bromont home. I would be reluctant to purchase another Bromont home in the future.

Beautiful homes. We picked a gorgeous bungalow with a great layout.The staff there were wonderful. I had a great experience with the design studio manager, she was very kind and took the time to help me choose the exterior colours of my home. I truly think we have the best looking house in the neighbourhood thanks to her.Jo and Rob

We bought our new house from Bromont, very disappointed with the quality & customer service. I won't even touch on squeaky floors or leaky doors. Customer service seems to be lacking, not important to Bromont, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted so many days waiting for them to show for an appointment that they don't keep. Last week one of the owners of Bromont was to call me with info on an issue, but no call was ever made. But he did email me to say he would be here the next day, like an idiot I waited home all day without anyone showing up. This is about the 8th or 9th time for no shows. Didn't even have the decency to phone and say he isn't coming. And that being a week ago, I'm pretty sure he isn't coming. Superior craftsmanship & great customer service? Not here there isn't. Only 1 positive feedback, and that's from an employee.

Positives: Decent constructionNegatives: Didn't provide garage to home access, upgrades are insanely priced, getting them to fix post construction fixes is a nightmare.Comments: I had purchased a home with this builder in their Highlands of Millbrook" community. I am certain that I made worst decision of my life buying the home from these guys.1) They said the door from garage to inside the house would be done (if the grade permits)
