I can't thank Olenders enough for their hard work, exceptional service with detailed customer service and timing on what they offer. They're extremely professional, straight forward, and honest. I've been going to them for years and the work is always top notch. They take the time to answer my questions, help the longevity of my vehicle -- all without breaking the bank and making sure I am taken care of. Most importantly, they help me better understand my vehicle and take the time to explain things if I don't understand. I can't think of a better place in town to take my car to. This last time I needed a part that was hard to find, Sonny took the time to call around and find what my older Toyota 4Runner needed and the timing was truly faster than I anticipated. These are hard times -- he was quick, honest, and took the time to make sure my car was getting exactly what it needed to keep going. Didn't know what was wrong with my car. They gave me a loaner vehicle whilst they did a bumper to bumper inspection. There were a few minor things wrong, but instead of taking advantage of me, they informed me of what to watch out for when the items mentioned need to be dealt with, and sent me on my way with a very reasonable bill. Extremely pleased!

The service here is unmatched! I was driving through Duncan and my car developed a misfire. I stopped by on a Monday afternoon, and Sonny was happy to jump right in and diagnose it for me. He and his team kept the car overnight and fixed it right away the next day (faulty fuel injector, not an everyday fix). Sonny even went out of his way to drive me to the bus station so I could get home afterwards.He could have easily turned me away and told me the shop was busy since I didn’t have an appointment, but instead he and his team were eager to get me back on the road. I have found my new mechanic! These guys will not disappoint. By far the best service I’ve ever received.Other auto shops should take note from Sonny, these guys go above and beyond and are experts in their field. The most exceptional customer service around.

This review and experience with Olenders will tell you everything you need to know. It all started when my transmission blew out and i took it to them to get a rebuilt replacement for around 5k in total. They got the transmission from a 3rd party supplier in calgary. It came with a 3 year warranty! Good deal, took her for a rip and away we went with a fresh transmission. 2 years and a few months later it blew out again. After sending it back to the supplier to get it repaired(since it was still under warranty) we learned that the supplier was not going to cover the warranty. He was a real sleezeball type of guy, you know those insurance agents that wont cover something because of the littlest detail. Even olenders said it was weird and unlike him to not cover the warranty. So here we are, stuck between a rock and a hard place. I have no ride and a blown transmission that the supplier is refusing to cover, to all of our dismay. I went to Olenders and asked them what we can do and you know what they did? THEY COVERED ALL EXPENSES TO GET IT FIXED. That my friends, is the sign of old time island folk. Those who stand by their word and their work are hard to come by these days. They didnt have to cover the expenses, they were not bound by any authority other then their own reputation. GO TO OLENDERS YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!

We thought our car was due for a brake job and were prepared to pay accordingly. A while after dropping the car off they called and said we didn’t need any work done; that the brakes were fine. Had they said we needed work done we would have taken their word for it and had it done. Instead, we paid a very reasonable fee for the labour involved. We’ve been to this shop in the past and have always been satisfied with the service. This latest visit just proved that they are honest and trustworthy. Don’t hesitate to take your vehicle there. You don’t have to worry about paying for repairs you don’t need.

Got our BC vehicle inspection done here and they were very accommodating in getting us in and out quickly. We plan to go here in the future for our service. They came recommended to us and they more than met our expectations

Absolutely Amazing. Went there on a referral as we were not happy with our previous place, and I don't think I will go anywhere else! They fixed an issue that was supposedly done at the previous place as well as our oil change, and the price was WAY less than we expected. Love them so much!
