This lake is great if you like shallow ponds and getting completely covered in old seaweed.But it’s the only place near Calgary so it’ll have to do.

Amazing place, feels like a tropical country! Man made beach and plenty of trees where you can hide from the burning sun, water temperature is good for a swim. 5 stars

Scenic, beautiful, and huge lake. There is a small beach they have made to enjoy. This lake is on both sides of the road. A very good place to enjoy has a picnic. Good areas to play for kids. So windy sometimes. Check weather conditions before coming here. A good parking place is also there. Food and restaurants are nearby only.

Serene and very clean... lots of space for kids to play...ideal for a day picnic...went there recently...do watch out for weather before going as wind near Lake is extremely cold...

Beautiful little beach to visit. The time I visited this lake was frozen. The sandy beach feeling is great though for summertime.
