Shumski's Garden Centre & Fencing

I purchased a set of chain link gates to install myself, to go across my driveway. Shumski's had the best pricing, were very friendly to deal with, and the gates look and work great.

Hired Shumski for chain-link fencing and gate in Sept.2021. WRONG DECISION! I wanted gate to operate in both directions. Ron not confident while installing gate. The gate never was able to function properly. Apparently Ron having no expertise in gate operating in both directions. In May spoke to Helen if Ron could change latch & adjust gate. Helen stated yes will put me on list for when Ron has the time. I have spoken to Helen on various occasions, same message on each occasion. On my last call in Oct. Helen's response, for me to come buy & pick up latch. Ron would then change latch &charge a service fee of 125.00. Helen & Ron after almost half of year of conversations, having no intentions of looking after there customer. Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My husband paid approximately $2,100 for 20 sections of fence. He went with trailer they loaded. Yes he should have counted and checked, the pieces were unload behind the house at the shop over 200 feet from the dirt road we live on. My husband is retired and we have 5 dogs. With the being said we just put them up and noticed we are 3 short the office said someone stole them and won't do anything. I'm sorry but the amazon driver can't even get 2 feet in the driveway without the dogs going off so don't sit there at tell me that someone drove 200 feet behind our property and only took 3 pieces of fence and not 1 dog barking. What a rip off and scam of an older gentleman

Ron and his team installed a 650 foot long, 5 foot high fence with a 10 foot gate and two regular gates for my backyard. Really good quality work, would definitely recommend anyone else doing a similar sized project. They quoted the best out of all the other companies I have contacted to get this done.

Nice selection of lawn and garden materials and very reasonably priced as well. The best thing about a small business like this is that they have knowledgeable people who actually know what they are talking about and not someone that got 30 minutes training then plopped in a department. Very willing to answer questions and all around nice people. It's going to be my new Go-to lawn and garden center!!!

Fantastic place to get chain link fencing installed and they have beautiful trees that are in excellent condition. Their flowers look phenomenal! The staff are very helpful!!!

BUYER BEWARE! I came to Shumskis because it had been around for a long time and thought they were the experts....wrong! I asked the staff to measure the tree as I need it a certain diameter and they measured and said it fit what I needed. I planted it...and found out from the developer that it was too small ! I called back and hoping they would do something to help...I even offered to buy another tree but they said they were putting them away. If your looking for helpful friendly staff...don't go here please they are not the experts!

good place, be nice if they invested in some gravel for their lot so that my vehicles don't have to get damaged just because I choose give them some business. It hurts having a 30k+++ truck and hearing rocks and mud hit the sides.

I purchased a yard of pea gravel. They filled up the back of my truck with 2 buckets full. Good value for my money. Worth the trip out of the city.

I went with Shumski's Fencing not only because they offered us the lowest quote, I am happy to pay more for quality, but because of a recommendation from a friend who also used them. I saw their fence and it looked great.I decided to ahead with Shumski's for a 5' chain link fence around my backyard. The initial day was postponed due to horrible weather which they called me about ASAP so I didn't miss any work. The re-scheduled date went off without a hitch. The workers were great and went over everything with me.By the time I came home everything was up and looking great....Except for the latches that the fence doors used didn't latch very well at all. Since we got the fence mainly for a dog we needed doors that would latch securely.I called Shumski's and informed of this and within the day while I was at work new latches were installed which work great.I've had the fence almost 6 months now and I have zero complaints. The Doggo is happy to have a nice place to run around and we are happy with the work.I would and will recommend to any friends that are looking for fences.Thanks!
