Shoppers Drug Mart

This 1 star is purely for the experiences with one of the pharmacist at this location. She is extremely rude and accusatory. I have expressed my concerns to another pharmacist which had advised me that they had spoken to her although she continues with her horrid attitude and rude comments. Although their wait times aren’t very accurate, the other staff has been very kind and pleasant to deal with. Daytime staff in the general store are warm and welcoming. Despite all this, I can’t look past this one employee/pharmacist, it’s beyond me how this women is still employed. 3 times I have come into contact with her and all 3 interactions have been the same… Have respect and treat people like human being.

I telephone in my prescription renewals using their automated system. It's true that the pickup time stated is two days later, but my prescriptions have always been ready when they were supposed to be. However, there's always a long lineup with only one clerk assigned to pickups. When an error is made (I'm on two separate insurance plans that overlap), it's always fixed up properly and promptly.When buying non-pharmacy products, Stephania at the cash recognizes all regular customers and gives the whole store a personal touch that I greatly appreciate.

I bought a Skip the Dishes gift card from here at the cash register and I paid with my Visa. The cashier scanned it and I paid for it and later found out that it was a fraudulent gift card and they wouldn’t return my money. I have the Shoppers receipt with the card and they can’t refund it even though it was sold from their store. It’s an elaborate scam in which someone has to enter the store and swap out the real ones with the fraudulent ones. But I don’t understand how Shoppers can still go ahead with this purchase at the cash register and not detect that it’s not their product. Unbelievable!

Worst customer service from a pharmacist - I can’t have my thyroid medication ready just because she didn’t wanted to look up into the system. it’s a thyroid medicine and I have to skip one day just because it requires 48h apparently to refill,. She was clearly in a bad mood, and for that reason I have to skip one day medication.

Called about a medication and the pharmacist told me he had it and when I drove in all the way to the store, they don't have it. So disappointed and fed up.

The customer service and staff treatment is not it whether it's pharmacy or general customer service. I went in to get a syrup for a cold/chest congestion. I thought it would be beneficial and quick to ask the pharmacist to direct me to the most appropriate medication. I expressed my symptoms and told him that he can recommend me any medication but Robatussin cause this particular brand had not worked well with me every time I've taken it, I've felt very agitated internally. He then proceeded to say that all ingredients are same in each bottle so he doesn't understand what I'm saying. I again said just recommend me anything else but that one, he literally took the bottle and showed me the one ingredient" that's in every bottle

When there are 2 pharmacy checkout lanes and only one is manned with eight impatient, complaining customers in a lineup and six employees behind the counter you certainly begin to think that your money is much better deserved elsewhere. They know you’re not going anywhere though because you need your prescription. All this after waiting 20 minutes for one of them to pick up the phone before visiting the store. The woman ahead of me was complaining that she had been hung up on. Unscrupulous behaviour, unbecoming of a supposedly professional organization. We’re not sheep. We’re paying clients. Please don’t say you’re understaffed. Prepare yourselves appropriately for suitable business readiness.

Worst Shoppers I have ever been to. There are always various issues at the cash. No customer service what so ever. Everyone is grumpy, borderline rude. I keep ending up there once in a while, as it's the closest to my home. I always leave disappointed for one reason or another. I will never again set foot in that store.

Pharmacy staff need some training on customer service and how to speak to people on the phone. The woman I spoke to on the phone, spoke over me, was super sharp and so unfriendly. She passed me off to a more helpful coworker but she could still be heard in the background talking about me. So uncomfortable.I will be taking my prescriptions somewhere else. Wish I had read the reviews before picking based on the rules of proximity.

Amazing the Customer Service. It became my favorite pharmacy when I needed medication for my daughter. The pharmacist went above in beyond in ensuring I got thw right medication for her.
