Rainbow Ridge Golf Course

Staff were excellent. Challenging course, greens make you think. Had a great experience playing 18 holes here.

Food was delicious ! I was there with a bus tour and the chef ran out of whitefish so we had the pulled pork on bun and Mac salad and it did not disappoint!!! Very tasty.

Extremely disappointed. We paid $54 each. This course is in rough shape. By far not a 18-hole championship course as advertised. Bunkers are not groomed, fairways are unevenly cut, the rough had more dandelions than grass, not one cup was straight, tee boxes are extremely uneven and full of ragweed. On a positive note, the greens were cut perfectly straight except the inexperienced greens mower left tire prints from aggressively turning on the greens. Potential for this course is there.. Its too bad there is a lack of maintenance and care for this course. Price did not reflect the shape of the course. Should have charged Spring Rate...if that was the Spring Rate you should be ashamed.

When we are looking to treat ourselves (& not have to do dishes) we have been enjoying the bacon cheeseburgers with poutine (made with curds) and the real chicken fingers with French fries.Haven't been disappointed with the food and time frame given on pick up.Staff is friendly and they deserve the tip I leave.

Didn't golf here, but did eat here because it was the only restaurant in town open. The food was surprisingly very good. Fresh hamburgers and chicken fingers made on site. The wife had the fish which had an excellent batter. Try the swing bridge blonde ale, very delicious.

Great staff. The young lady working the pro shop was fantastic. Went out of her way to help. Course was in decent shape.

Played here today and enjoyed the course. The greens were in fantastic shape. The fairways were very good. Unfortunately, it was our second Manitoulin round in as many days where my wife and I followed a senior's foursome the ENTIRE round and waited on every... single... shot (different course yesterday). What's up with Manitoulin golfers and simple etiquette? The bunkers were unplayable and the rough was a little sketchy in spots (lift and place was our workaround). I'd also suggest better yardage markers for those that aren't familiar with the course (there are sunken markers in the ground but some clearly-identifiable stakes would be a huge, and inexpensive, improvement). The clubhouse was a bit of a mess, I'm afraid to say, but that didn't detract from the golfing itself (and the staff was very friendly). All in all, a scenic course with a good layout and good greens. We intend to play again someday. *Somebody tell golfers on the island that a riding two-some shouldn't take 2.5 hours to play 9 holes!!

It's a beautiful course and it is in great shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our round of golf.
