This sleep clinic has changed my life! Dr. Jay has spent so much time with me to discuss my ailment and has answered a barrage of questions with knowledgeable and informative answers. He cares so much about his patients and their wellbeing. I’ve learned so much from this clinic. Dr. Alonso has also been fabulous and he was able to explain the insomnia causes and came up with a great treatment plan for me that has been working wonders. I feel so blessed to have been sent to this clinic and the staff from the schedulers to the doctors and support staff are all amazing assets. I recommend asking your doctor for a referral right away if insomnia or sleep apnea are plaguing you.

I had an excellent experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Having a doctor on staff was great. I highly recommend Canadian Sleep Consultants.

One of the worst front end medical experiences ever! Be an advocate for your child’s health and go somewhere else! I work in the medical/dental field and would never trust to go here again.Consult was months ago and yet no idea of treatment plan because of the lack of front ends communication.Very unfortunate, especially for a children’s clinic. Front staff after months of phoning, being promised to hear back by the end of day, never returning calls, leaving messages and asking to be contacted by officeManager. No one has yet to get back to me with information.Front end staff is unreliable and feels like they don’t care and have no idea what they are doing. My child deserves better treatment than this.

Friendly and helpful staff. They were able to answer my questions prior to the appointment.Also the doctor was able to explain why I'm having sleep issues and what would be the best option for me to move forward with treatment.So far so good and I'm sleeping better than before.

Mixed Reviews.....The Sleep Dr himself is great, seems like a great nice guy.The clinic itself is a rip-off.They will lie and try to sell you on using their service, but they do little for service.First the initial technician was a pain to deal with. She acted like the mask was going to kill me when trying it on.Next she insisted to use a mask without showing me options.I was back the next day to get a different mask.Then a week later I find out information she gave me was incorrect in respects to doing a rental.They expect you to wait a week when you aren't sleeping and trying to adjust to a new machine. They will tell you what they want you to know, so you don't know how to adjust the machine yourself for personalized settings.That might I add would not affect the prescription" side of things.While someone I would classify as less intelligent might not see the games they play

I echo the other 1 star reviews. Based on our experience here, the clinic needs to work on being more client centred.

I started coming to Canadian sleep consultants a little leases that year ago after moving to Calgary and it was the best mystery I have made! I was going to another clinic in Edmonton for years and they could t tell me why I could not sleep and just plied pills on me which made my lack of sleep even worse. After one visit here, they set me up for a new take home test and then after that they discussed my treatment and they discovered what some of the problems were and are treating me without drugs and my sleep is improving already. They are my life savers! I recommend anyone with sleep issues to make an appointment!

Absolutely horrific service. They promised us an appointment within 1 month - waited 3 months. Then when I told them we could NOT make an appointment, they booked it anyway and had the gall to blame myself! I had all summer off to accommodate them in either location, but they offered one day and then September. I live out of town and would have to take an entire day off for this appointment. When I told them this, their receptionist proceeded to talk to someone else in the background and make fun of me (I could hear their whole conversation). Instead of apologizing for her unprofessional behaviour, she hung up on me. If I were you, I would try to get an appointment elsewhere, as I will be doing. Apparently my child is not special enough to receive professional behaviour and timely appointments (referral sent in February, no appointment currently booked with earliest in September).

Went to the clinic yesterday with my son (8). Felt like we were inconveniencing the front line staff by just being there. We were asked 3 times for the same form. Very impatient and disorganized. Furthermore-the actual Dr. did not give a hoot about my son's actual symptoms. She was mainly interested in selling" $1000 to cut down on wait time on mere testing!? I dont think so. They arent very good with children either. I'd rather take my son to ghe children's hospital. You might wait a big longer to get in

I am a health care worker and I can tell you the staff here are unprofessional and not client centered. Front line staff are unorganized. I received 3 confusing and repetitious appointment confirmation calls prior to my son's appointment. On our appointment day, we waited for 40 minutes in a clinic room before a doctor came and she was completely ill prepared. She did not read any of the 12 pages of initial paperwork I had filled out upon their request and treated us as a generic case. When I pointed out that the series of steps she was suggesting to help with sleep apnea had already been tried as documented in the paperwork they asked of me, she did not apologize or change her approach. She then pulled up a series of actual surgical photos on her computer, in front of my son, who left panicking that he was going to have to have his face cut open. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
