Chianti Café
The food was good. The chicken Alfredo has a really heavy, thick cream, so if you are planning on having a lighter meal, choose something else

Classic Italian, with a large variety of dishes to appeal to anyone. We always come here to celebrate a special family occasion or just because. Highly recommend.

Had lunch at Chianti cafe. It has large portions for a decent price. The food came out fast. It was a good experience and likely will be back again. I will say the staff are very friendly but a bit on the slow side. It took about 5 min to be greeted and seated at the door, we felt a bit silly standing there waiting for someone to help us. It was fairly busy with the lunch crowd so I won’t hold it against them. Nothing major that would impact us coming back as the meal was great.

Pasta and Veal both were really good! My only regret was supersizing" my pasta for $5 more which did not seem worth it. Aside from that

Amazing Italian food! Loved the prawns starter with lemon garlic sauce. Their portion size is really good. Ken was courteous and service was quick! Loved it

Always consistent and delicious!I’ve been going to the crowfoot location my whole life and just started recently going to the willow park location. My friends and I always go to Chianti’s because they can accommodate her allergies. Our meals and the service has always been consistently great. Even during peak hours, we’ve had friendly and prompt service.I always get the spinach salad and it is so good. I’d highly recommend it if you want a change from Caesar salad. I got the Mare e Monte linguini and you get a perfect portion of scallops, peas, and mushrooms. And the sauce is light but has lots of garlic flavour. The pasta is always cooked to perfection. It’s a great casual family-friendly spot for a simple Italian meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Great local spot in Willow Park.We came on a Saturday evening and it was quite busy, luckily we had a reservation. We ordered calamari and a small order of bruschetta, and wow, the portions are very generous. Prices are very reasonable as well. It's a lively atmosphere and staff are very friendly.I'll definitely come back again some time.

Wow! WOW! Wow!! My expectations were blown away. I'm not normally big on Italian food because the places I've been serve it so bland and basic. Not here, the dishes were full of amazing flavor and the price was totally reasonable. The place was absolutely packed to the rafters on Friday night service so make reservations. The only thing I'll fault is the restaurant is tight, tables close together so around 100 people in a space like this can feel a little stiff. Found it a bit hard to navigate from one side to the restrooms on the other, the front door waiting area is narrow and uncomfortable. I opted to wait outside until they could seat us. I will be back for sure!EDIT: We have returned a few times and each time has been really great the only thing I will state is the red sauce which is used in many of the dishes is a touch on the sweet side, it compliments some dishes really well but something simple like spaghetti and meatballs really deserves a classic tomato sauce that stands on its own. The sweet can be a little off-putting when not accompanied by other more robust flavors like seafood.I still recommend this restaurant and will be trying some of the different sauces.

Great cheap pasta ($13.99). At that price it really just needs to be edible. I got the sicilian penne (sausage, mushroom, and onion in a curry tomato sauce). The onion and mushroom were both raw, but after picking out, it was tasty and filling.

I recently dined at Chianti Cafe and overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and courteous, which added to the positive vibe of the place. However, as someone who has been to your Crowfoot branch multiple times, I couldn't help but notice a difference in the service. One thing that stood out at the Crowfoot branch was the warm bread served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, which was a delightful touch that added to the overall dining experience. Additionally, the server would grate cheese onto the plate after serving, which added an extra touch of indulgence. These little details made the meal at Crowfoot branch memorable and special.I would love to see these same touches added to the service at this location as well, as it would truly elevate the dining experience and make it even more enjoyable. It's the small things that make a difference, and I believe it would enhance the overall experience at Chianti Cafe.Despite this minor feedback, I still had a great time at Chianti Cafe and would recommend it to others for its delicious food and friendly staff. I hope to see these little touches added in the future, as it would make a difference in making Chianti Cafe an exceptional dining destination.
