Hands down the best Finn pancakes in town. A must do every single trip back to Thunder Bay. A huge assortment of ready made foods and beautiful sauna facilities. Gift certificates make perfect gifts for those hard to shop for. The service and the owners rock.

It’s been too long since I was able to have my weekend sauna due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Today was my triumphant return, and it was glorious! Small, medium and large rooms available.$28 got me a small room for an hour and a half, and it was worth every nickel considering how good I feel afterwards.The fun doesn’t end at the sauna. Afterwards I relaxed in the patio and had a delicious bacon and egg breakfast.Kangas has some of the best Finn pancakes pound for pound in the city.French toast, eggs benedict and a fine spot for an omelet with a morning coffee.I have never tried the lunch menu, but I was really liking the looks of the sandwiches and burgers at the tables around me.This city had better not lock down again. My sauna helps center me for my upcoming work week.

Have made Kangas a stop on cross country drives for the past 30 years. It's a great, relaxing and refreshing pit stop. Still a fantastic experience with great customer service, but the facility is really starting to show its age. Definitely needs a face-lift. I didn't eat there this time, but the restaurant was hopping and the specials looked good.

Great breakfast option in Thunder Bay. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Highly recommend the Finnish pancakes or the Eggs Benedict. The restaurant was busy, but minimal wait time. Looking forward to going back!

Breakfast is always a busy time and worth every second of any time of wait.We enjoyed our Finn pancakes as well as our bacon and eggs.The staff are always amazing!

Great place for an early lunch, and the saunas are a nice treat once and a while. All in all, happy with going here, friendly staff, good service.

Food was good. Service was good but way overpriced in my opinion. Not racing back anytime soon. The ham & cheese omelette with toast was like $13.50 if you want potatoes that's sn extra $4.50 starting to get way to expensive to eat out.

It has been almost 30 years since being to Kansas, and it was a lovely experience. We rented a medium sauna and enjoyed having our own restroom. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We had a great steam followed by a wonderful sleep.

It is my first and i am really amazed,service is good and very accommodating too.. happy that we tried.. food is sooo yummy ! pretty busy but we enjoyed our time here..thumbs up
