It was terrible. Upon the first consultation with Michael sinclaire, it was explained to us that he had a new lawyer who was more affordable than himself. Her name is Remy Ventura, and Michael explained that we would use her at her rates, and he would just be her support through the process. It's a family law case, and they insisted that they knew what they were doing. Almost right away we started receiving thousands in bills. And looking over them, there's time spent on my file that is excessive and very random in nature. Like charging 8 hours to write a letter. Once we got a bill for over 10k, we realized we were getting billed for Michael's time aswell. This was not discussed with us, and we were led to believe that he would be aiding her in the trial, because she was a new lawyer. But they insisted in no wrong doing, despite the horrible decisions they made throught my trial. They set me back over a year, they misrepresented my evidence of domestic violence, and they damaged my credibility in court due to their own mistakes and miscommunication. It has cause pain and suffering and much hardship to my whole family, and it's given my abusive ex opportunities to abuse my son and myself for the past year and a half. If they had just told me that they could've take my case, I could've found someone with more qualifications in family lawz that could actually have helped my situation, rather than the opposite. They had no remorse in their actions and charged us over 30k to help my ex.** Edit after complainant replied: I don't see you learning anything from this. If you did, you would have taken my family serious and returned to the funds you fraudulently stole from my parents. We were vulnerable and you took advantage of that. You owe my parents every penny that you took for yourself in such a greedy and manipulative manner. You should be ashamed that you did not correct your mistake. I get you big money" lawyers don't care about anything without a dollar sign on it. But you don't see the true devastation you put upon family's. I'm glad you sleep well at night knowing a 3 year old was physically abused by his father due to your careless ways. I'll be reporting you to the BBC. Your reply to this review shows how little you care."
