I had a fantastic experience with Aegis. I didn’t get the person’s name who I was being helped by, but he went above and beyond for me trying to fix the problem with my car lock that I had, keeping me updated with how much things would cost and the steps he was taking to solve the problem. He figured out the problem and solved it within three hours of me dropping my car off! The cost of the work done was very reasonable as well. I spoke to a few other people in the phone as well, and they were all just as friendly and informative. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will return to Aegis for future lock-related needs. I've had several occasions were I've had keys cut here were the keys didn't work or work but only with great difficulty. That means having to go back but if you ask them to get them to work better, they will tell you that that is is best that can be done & there prices are far from the best & often the price is not what they quoted you.On the other hand they did stay after hours for me once. I phoned in advance to let them know that I was having my van towed to there place & would be there between 4:30 & 5 pm. I got there just before 5 and initially they said that they were closed & I needed to leave my van out on the street and come back tomorrow. Then Aaron changed his mind and decided to cut the keys for me that evening. The keys did not work initially so he had to modify them to get them to work but they still do not work smoothly. I did appreciate him staying late though and decided to just live with the poorly cut keys.On other occasions, they just told me that I needed to come back the next day and had no choice but to go back.Another good thing is that they do seem to have a good selection of keys.

Small shop. Answered my questions about programming a new key fob for my truck. Cheaper than dealership to just program, their price included new fob . I would recommend this place.

I tried three other places in Edmonton to get a car key copied before I found Aegis. Next time, I'll know straight where to go to save time and money. Learn from my experience, choose Aegis Locksmiths.

During the holidays in December, 2022, I needed a key cut, and many places were closing early. I called them and told them my situation. They decided to stay for me, allowing me transportation time to get to them. But not only that, the shop manager was even more kind to offer me a ride all the way back to my residence. I was grateful for such kindness. Regrettably this is a late feedback review. I felt bad for not properly thanking them again for the high courtesy they gave me that evening. The name of the person who stayed and gave me the ride back escapes my memory. He had a bit of grey hair and goes on alot of trips to the US. We were talking about Mexico flight problem for Canadians trying to get back or something. That's pretty much what I remember. If you need keys cut, please get it done by them. They are very good at what they do and courteous.

Lost my Mitsubishi keys & fob while at work this week...the guys are great, super knowledgeable & helpful. Today Aaron went above & beyond to find a programmable key as the Mistsubishi info in the catalogue saying it wasn't available, but Aaron wanted to try another key they had & programmed it to my original...super happy it worked:)...very reasonable fee compared to dealership...would recommend a person to try Aegis for all their key & lock needs...

Picked up the phone promptly, were super nice and friendly, sent out a very polite and understanding serviceperson after calling first to make sure I was home, and solved my problem in like... I would say less than ten minutes. Absolutely sterling service.

I needed two keys reprogrammed for my Honda Pilot. They quoted me $90 including new blanks and cutting new keys.However, I didn't need new keys so they were able to reprogram my old keys in less than 20 minutes and charged me only $65.In comparison,the Honda dealership had quoted $180, which would have been twice the price of the $90 originally quoted by Aegis and almost three times the $65 I was actually charged by Aegis!Fast and honest service by Aegis!

I was pleased with the service, and the guy that helped me with my car key he was very pleasant, helpful, and he is knowledgeable. The price was good too.

A couple years ago I had some blank motorcycle keys and couldn’t find a place to get them cut. I dropped by the shop and Aegis helped me out. Quick service and reasonable prices. Now I need some vehicle keys cut and programmed. I called around and other locksmiths quotes were really expensive. Aegis again comes through with reasonable pricing.
