Great little place tucked away in a commercial park on the corner with an outdoor patio. Small Cozy atmosphere inside run by Mom and Pop.. They open at 11:30 and we waited a while, as they must've been running late as we met them arriving as we were leaving so we backed up and stayed. Glad we did. Very Friendly Mom who thanked us for staying and we ordered a couple of margaritas..which were very good, home made. What I thought was kinda funny is that the ice cubes had holes in them like in Mexico usually indicating that the water is purified.. Anyway, the food was really good. My wife had the Mexican fries that were loaded with cheese, peppers and salsa and I had the chicken burritos which were very good. A great meal overall. Payment is cash or eTransfer only. Worth a visit when nearby.

A semi hidden family operated gem, more authentic Mexican food and we were welcomed with music from the speakers outside as we walked in. Very friendly owner (I think he's the owner) took our order. We got a margarita, nachos borrachos, burrito, chimichanga, and pork tacos. We were served starter homemade tortilla chips with some spicy salsa sauce. The atmosphere is fun, family feel, like they'd sit down and eat your dinner with you. I love the clay plates, telenovelas were on the tv.Personally the chips were too salty but I enjoyed them. Simple ingredients, rice was fluffy. I found some of the food to be lacking in seasoning/fresh quality but it could just be my preferences. Portions are decently sized, the food came out quick. Kid friendly. Needs a bit of a spring clean up but we had a good time.Come try this cute little spot out

I've not been able to go down to Bellingham, WA since COVID-19 closed the Canadian USA border for non essential travel & as a result I've not eaten any authentic Mexican food.Well, I have now found authentic Mexican food & it's in Aldergrove, BC. A really cute place, in an Industrial Park, with outside tables.The food was awesome with beans, rice, Carnutas, Pollo & Asada.I had a plate of Tacos de Puerco & Carne Asada a la Tampiquena, my wife had Emmolades (the mole sauce was incredible).This is now our go to Mexican food restaurant.

So good- the food is absolutely divine! The owner makes you feel awkward but hes so sweet so it's okay :) again amazing food- even if the service and atmosphere sucked I'd recommend it just for the food! Best Mexican I've had (which isnt saying much because I'm a sheltered white girl) but my person said it was absolutely incredible" and hes a cook so I'd trust his input"

Came here on Easter Sunday food is really good but I wish the owner would have let us known first before paying that we were able to use our debit card to pay. After we finished our meal the owner wrote the price down on a paper and told us to interact them that price for the meals. The interact was not working so they told us we can use their debit machine (after they told us only cash or interact.) Only to find out after that we paid twice for our meals. The interact went through even though the owners said it didn't go through. And we paid debit card. They charges us twice. Instead of paying $40 for our one visit, we ended up getting charged $80 in total. Just please before you come here, make sure its clear that the money goes through their interact first before they offer other offers of payment. We got ripped off.

The food was very delicious, fresh and authentic. The service was amazing, very welcoming and kind.The atmosphere was very warm, with pictures and music, it really makes you enjoy a rainy day indoors ❤

Unique experience. Not fancy, small family owned place with 5 tables. You feel like you entering into someone's kitchen, and hosts will prepare food for you. The food is delicious and very fast. Hosts are amazingly friendly and always ready for jokes. If you do not mind food smelling clothes after and you do not look anything fancy, just good food, this is the place worth your visit.

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Canada. The restaurant is family run with excellent service and good portions. It’s tucked away in an industrial area but look for the big Mexican flag. I will most definitely be back again

What a well kept secret this little place is.It's in an industrial area and not found along the main route, yet has authentic food. If you like real Mexican food, this little place seems to attract people who appreciate the taste of Mexico

Don Juan has created a “little Mexico” inside this amazing restaurant. The music and decor transport you directly to Mazatlán and the food completes your journey! We tried the Enmoladas, nopal salad, queso fundido, pork tacos which are cochinita pibil style and tortilla soup. Amazing authentic Mexican food!!! We will be back every time we visit Abbotsford. A must try!
