Valle Vista Stables

This barn is the perfect place for my wants/needs as a horse owner. It is very laid back, access to trails, not a far trailer ride to the ocean or lake and the people around are also easy going.It is a busy barn with a lot going on some days but it makes each visit interesting, building new connections and desensitising opportunities!

We had an excellent afternoon with our energetic trainers! Very reassuring, friendly, and knowledgeable. The trail ride was a beautiful setting. Thank you!!

Just went for a trail ride a Valle Vista and had a great time! Despite there being a mix-up with our booking the staff were very nice and helpful and got us riding in a pretty short amount of time. It was my kids first time and the staff were so great with my nervous 7 year old, the ponies the kids rode were super gentle and the horses we adults rode were lovely as well. We will definitely ride there again!

We’ve had 2 horses at Valle Vista for well over a year now, and can’t say enough good things about the care they’re getting. The staff knows what to feed our horses so they are in optimal form, and provide extra attention to one of our horses when her chronic illness acts up. Our horses are in excellent hands at Valle Vista !!!

Valle Vista a great place to be. I’ve been there for nearly a full year ever since my old barn shut down and I would never go back. Staff are nice and welcoming, Horses are treated well, and Terry is very considerate and kind. Terry was willing to keep the horse I am training (Charlie) for me instead of selling him, just because he saw a bond and potential between us two. There is also quite a few trainers there to chose from, theirs Sophie and her dad Tony, Terry, Adrianna from her barn Texas Rose Training, and Cay. All the trainers are friendly and have different ways of teaching to accommodate the riders needs. Their trail rides are nice, Terrys lets me and my friend go for some together and he also pays to lead trail rides. Everyone who works their typically has a reason they work or they are being paid, there is no child labour. The horses are not abused, they are fed well, if a horse is having weight loss then their diet is adjusted, water is always being checked and cleaned, horses stalls and typically mucked twice a day, horses are constantly being turned out, if a horse gets injured then it is taken care of immediately, and horses are not overworked and are not forced to do things they don’t want too. It is a very nice barn and their is lots of activities to do on and off the horse, their board is fair, riding lesson price is cheaper then most other stables, and it’s overall just a nice, homey stable. I very much recommend Valle Vista Stables for a new and experienced riders.

Terry the owner runs a tight ship. Horses are in excellent condition and shape.The young women who are stable hands/riders/guides friendly. Need more than a 1 hour booking if you want to get out and about beyond a nice country lane ride.

So impressed and awestruck with our experience today! This is the place to be. Riley was absolutely incredible, we were lucky to get her for a lesson, it’s amazing how many things she was able to teach and have our little guy experience in just one hour. She’s personable, professional, fun, plus outstanding knowledge and experience. Terry made everything happen, (and then some) and is a true gem of a person!! It’s easy to see the animals are well loved and cared for, and the owner and staff are Fantastic with children. We’ll be back very soon! I cannot say enough good things about Valle Vista, just get there and thank yourself later! ♡

My two adult children and I went for a ride today and it was a bit strange. Instead of someone on a lead horse taking us through some trails or along the beach we had someone walking with each horse on a lead. It was very kind of them but felt like we were on a pony ride at a carnival. We did walk quite far down a path full of bicycles and people walking their dogs. It was very crowded.The people were very nice and the horses seemed happy and well taken care of.

We love it! It's been a beautiful place for my daughter to grow and connect with horses and nature.

This barn is the best place to board, lease or do lessons if you are looking for a safe, fun, friendly, and affordable place for you or your child. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, caring and experienced horse people who genuinely love what they do and the horses they look after. While there is no indoor ring, they have 2 lovely and well maintained outdoor rings (the smaller ring is featured in the photo). I particularly love using their large outdoor sand ring in the summer as one half is shaded and the other gets full sun (don’t even get me started on how beautiful it is at sunset/rise). Located so close to the city, I almost don’t want to share just how much of a little gem this stables really is. Huge shout out to Texas Rose Training as well who have their stables on the property and their head trainer/owner Adrianna! In summary, canter don’t walk to get a spot here before everyone finds out.
