The best thing in this feminist Library is the mix between books and local art, there's also a children's section. There's a hole book of sticker selection, cards and there's also loads of zines! So nice to see a place support Diy, art and ... FEMINISM!

Absolutely Love this Bookstore! Staff was friendly, helpful and had fabulous recommendations. Excellent selection of Zines, magazines, graphic novels, poetry, children’s, young adult Literature, etc. I Can’t wait for my next visit.

I was in HEAVEN! Loved this bookstore and could easily spend many hours and dollars there! I appreciate that it's mixed French and English and the categorization of books. Such a gem. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Montréal

Packed with popular zines and local gems alike. I picked up a couple small zines earlier. Some were priced as low as 2 dollars for what looked like a zine someone printed themselves with their printer. I love finding cool, small and independent art. Please give this place a look! They host a whole lot of local artists. Cute stickers, patches and pins! Great for gifts.

Before this trip, I had done some research on the target market and locations of the bookstores that fit my kind of poetry to sell on consignment. L'Eguelionne not only serves my target market focusing on WLW, but they could accept my type of book with open arms. I had tried those in some places but they do not attend to small writers and distributor like me directly. Also, I am so surprised they are so open to buy my postcards impromptu. The staff is well-composed and speaks with respect. Thank you! And if anyone in Montreal is interested to buy the copies, you can get it there. It is located in The Village at Montreal. I will be honored if you buy my book - Masterpiece in Your Heart (Series of Poetry). Also, it comes with a package of 4 postcards as a gift. The place is simple and is contemporary.

I absolutely love this place!Only feminist bookstore I know, so glad it reopened recently. A wide selection of books, essays, zines and more. I really enjoy also the events they host, to discuss highly relevant topics with such interesting people and experts.Would recommend to anyone I care for!
