Tasty Pot
We enjoyed our meal and the hotpot tasted very good and authentic. They are filled with different good quality ingredients. The stinky tofu appetizer was very good as well. However, the fried popcorn chicken was quite underwhelming. It was mainly batter and barely any chicken. The blood pudding was also not as good as it should be. I would still recommend eating here and I would definitely give it another shot soon.

This is my first time trying an individual hotpot in Canada. I have been looking for this type for a while as I crave for Boiling Boil that I had in the US before. The portion is alot, and the soup broth is nice.We ordered Taiwanese soup, Kimchi soup, and Healthy soup. Taiwanese soup has a strong scent of the tradition soup broth, while the Kimchi soup is slightly sweet and lil spicy with Korean dumpling. My vegan friend loved his healthy soup with tofu and different kinds of mushrooms.We also tried stinky tofu and yam balls as apetizers. Highly reccommend!

Loved the individual pot style, felt like I went right back to Taiwan for the meal. I got the Taiwanese sticky tofu pot, the sticky tofu actually tasted similar to what you'd get in Taiwan, also got lots of other foods in the pot, the pork slices tasted great too, I added an additional plate of pork slices and was very happy with meat portion size.I didn't give a 5 star because there was so issue with the wifi and loading the QR code for some reason, I am not sure if it was my phone or the restaurant. Not a big deal at all though. There weren't much to say about service since everything is automated, the order did got mess up but was quickly resolved.I'd definitely visit again!

Colder days call for hotpot. And this is the perfect place for that. The hotpots come pre-cooked and are ready to eat - so no need to worry about cooking. My favourite is the Beef Hot Soup (#1). You don’t get a huge portion of meat, but there is substantial amount of other ingredients. They are reasonably portioned for one person. And you can personalize to your own spice level.

It turns out that our backup for our mother's day dinner is actually a decent hot pot restaurant. Conveniently located at the Times Square, this Taiwanese Tasty Hot Pot offers great taste and portion size. Must confess that it's not our first choice but it surprises us with superb value.

If you crave for Taiwan style pot, this is the place for you. It was my first time there. There were so many combination of pots. You can choose non-spicy to flaming spicy. The pot was very filling and the portion was quite big if you can’t eat a lot. We really enjoyed our pots there. If you go for lunch, there is a complimentarydrink with the set. This is always a good choice if you want to enjoy hotpot without being rushed or suffered from long waiting time.

Similar to a hotpot meal but meat and assorted carbs/vegs came together cooking in same pot. Base has a candle to keep meal piping hot.Choice of either rice or noodles; beef or pork. The rest of stuff differs based on soup broth choice. Soup base can be normal or spicy, I chose spicy which was the right decision. The spiciness was just right.Big difference from normal hotpots is the meat is fully cooked when delivered to you, cannot control the doneness as in normal hotpots places. If you don't like well done meat then please choose another place.Both satay and tomato base soups were full flavored. Examples of other stuff"; tofu

I came with a friend (i.e. table for two) around noon for lunch. We were both surprised to see how busy this place was on a weekday (i.e. Tuesday). I'm pretty sure these aren't people who work nearby and having their lunch break, as this type of food isn't really a quick grab-n-go. It seemed like everyone was here like us, to socialize and catch up over a meal.The place is quite spacious. I love that there's a lot of comfortable booth seating and that the benches are made of plastic - meaning easy to wipe down and keep clean. Overall, the restaurant was kept tidy and clean. The washroom was a bit more of your typical sketchy Chinese restaurant washroom though (heh). For women's, it's a two staller, though one was out of service. It's cramped but not so small that you'll swipe a wall when turning around. Thankfully, there's paper towel to dry your hands and not hand dryers (which only spread germs in my opinion).Now back to the food.This was my first time ever having individual-sized hot pot. I opted for the Cheesey Milk Hot Soup" which I had already had my heart set on when reviewing the menu before coming. It comes with Taiwanese cabbage

Taiwanese hot pot place.The hotpot comes pre-made and cooked so there’s no need to spend a lot of time and effort cooking the food.My favourite is the lamb hot pot. It is packed full of yummy, flavourful goodness. It’s the ultimate comfort food especially on a cold day but still good all year round.The array of condiments is great too because it an option to add or try a variety of additional flavours if you choose.The only reason it loses a star is because the wait staff could be more attentive. Perhaps they have had a lot of turn over and some of them are new but several staff were just standing there staring off into space not paying any attention to the tables. Hopefully this aspect improves in the near future.

It’s alright. I’m Taiwanese so I really miss mini hot pots like this, of course you can’t compare this to the real thing, but it’s not too bad either. Portions are ok for the price point, the toppings with the pots don’t actually vary that much, mostly just the soup base. Drinks aren’t worth getting, get boba elsewhere, when they’re a bit busy they can get toppings wrong so watch for that, ordered delivery once and what we got was total chaos lol
