Nick from Northern Internet Solutions- On Monday January 10 2022 he quoted me over the phone $300 to install Starlink Kit - he then said I needed to etransfer him $169.50 to seal the deal. I sent him the money which he promptly accepted. Then the challenge was to get a date for him to come out - he requested photographs which I promptly provided- FINALLY scheduled for Wednesday January 19 - I waited all day he kept promising he would do the installation- NO INSTALLATION- on this occasion he claimed his truck broke down - I was disappointed and rescheduled for January 31 - again no show this time he said “For your information I fell deathly ill ended up on the operating table on Wednesday but you know what I'm very sorry for that to you specifically I'm sorry.” Then he said “Wednesday morning February 2 firm. My helper and I will be there Wed morning to get this done.” Now it’s February 2 and no show this time he said “I'm isolating with my son and wife my son was diagnosed yesterday with covid”. Nick then stated maybe his friend could go out. Once again the friend is a no show - Nick then stated “I could have made some arrangements but my friend works 8pm to 6am. He's not in yet to ask if he would go do your place today”. I am done - please note on NONE of these occasions did he contact me to tell me he could not come out. It was only after I contacted him did he provide excuses for not showing up. I then said to Nick “Due To the number of cancellations You are not someone I want to to do business with I want my money back NOW - please etransfer my $169.50 back immediately” He is refusing to return my deposit- this guy is not to be trusted and I have reported him to the CGS police service fraud unit - do not etransfer money to this guy Nick at teamiwantinternet.ca
