Very nice. A new barn had to be built to replace the aging one. It fits the time period. Its a fun time to tour around the little village to take a step back in time. Planning to visit this summer when it opens.

A hidden treasure, full of antiques and history right in the middle of Doaktown. Miles of trails for foraging and hiking, great facilities for winter food preparation. Free wifi and clean bathrooms Open June to September.

Heritage sites like this are so important to learn about local history. It's a beautiful place to visit and everything has been so well maintained throughout the years. Very knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly tour guides working there as well, which made the visit completely worthwhile!

Went for Christmas in July with my grandson. There was some food, local crafts, and Santa was there and handed out treats. There were also games for the children. Was there for a couple of hours.

Doak Provincial Heritage Site
My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Doak house. Amelia was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. There were artifacts there that we've never seen before. The garden was amazing. I've driven past this site a hundred times and was pleasantly impressed during the tour.
