Prince George Aquatic Centre

I had a great experience at the aquatic centre today while waiting for my truck to get fixed at Canadian tire, a clean and well maintained facility with many activities to do swimming sauna steam room, weight room and ongoing classes. I was invited to participate in the Zumba class today which I thought was amusing, but a couple of my friends from church were participating in the class. I join the class just for fun and wow I was surprised that I got a pretty good stretch and it was fun so I encourage you to get out take it vantage of our public facilities and stay fit. For whatever reason I prefer this one to the newer center downtown - it has a gym as well and is possibly a bit quieter. Large change rooms and warm showers. Good spot!

Great place to go swimming we brought our grand daughter for a swim she enjoyed it her first time there

It's your average city made pool. Nothing to exciting (except a 10m diving board) but more then adequate for what you need. Sauna, steam room, hot tub, wave pool and a lazy river. Good maintenance and clean. Also great selections of clubs that use the pool for all levels of swimmers.

Older facility in great condition. Friendly energetic staff. Good for any age.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Nice small gym on site. Discount swims during the week. Hot tub, sauna, very good steam room, wave pool and lots of space to swim at this facility. Check swim lesson hours as there is no public swimming during these times. Evening weekdays gets fairly busy with swim club. If you want to do laps I'd recommend going later in the evening.

The staff aren't always friendly. It appears treatment depends on what you look like, but thus pool is a lot better than the new one, according to the kids that attend.

Lots of life guards and they seem to move around a lot. Giving u a sense of security for the kids.Water felt really warm too.

Learned how to swim comfortably here, the lifeguards keep an eye on everyone. Very friendly staff.

There are now two aquatic centres in PG and this is the original one. My 4 year old actually prefers this one because of the cleverly designed wave pool. The waves roll up to the shore beach style and also splash around in a shallow, walled area. There is no waterslide at this location. Thanks to a dedicated lesson area I have never encountered a time when the pool is closed to the public.
