We had an amazing experience with Windrift Adventures, and I cannot recommend them enough! The snowshoeing and dogsledding activities were simply incredible, and the hospitality and warmth of the staff were unmatched.From the moment I arrived, Ren, Clayton, and Jenna made me feel welcome and cared for. Their friendly demeanor and attentive service made me feel like I was part of their family. I appreciated the level of care and attention to detail they put into ensuring that my experience was a positive and memorable one. They were so very thoughtful to their dogs too!The snowshoeing and dogsledding activities were the highlight of my trip. The views were breathtaking, and the experience of being pulled through the snow by a team of well-trained sled dogs was simply exhilarating. I couldn't have asked for a better adventure.Overall, my experience with Windrift Adventures was nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable adventure, I highly recommend them. Thank you to Ren, Clayton, and Jenna for the wonderful hospitality and caring service.

Loved our experience here. The ladies were very friendly and explained how to use a dogsled. They dogs seemed like they we doing well and friendly. Definitely had more fun than we thought we were ! Recommend

Great family experience!Visited this place with my kids 10, 8, and 5 years and they absolutely loved it.This is our first time and was a nice surprise for the kids.It takes me a good five minutes to get used and comfortable driving the sled!Dogs were strong and healthy.Owners are so friendly !

This family owned dogsled was so accommodating and very patient with me and my friend as we ticked off dogsledding off of our bucket list. We were very scared and clumsy at the beginning of the ride and we each fell off the wagon as it was our first time doing this activity but the way the dogs responded to commands when they were told to stop and attentive to the owner is impressive. I appreciate y’all for the humility and being apart of our journey as we made memories.10/10 would recommend.

This place is a true gem. The trail was so magical and the view is breathtaking every moment. My favourite part was driving the sled because I get to feel like a part of the pack of the dogs. We get to work with the dogs and their excitement is contagious. Never seen dogs any happier and taken such good care of.

We loved this sledding experience through the forest. The dogs seemed really happy and well cared for, and the ride was so exciting and magical. The staff were lovely and really helpful. I'd highly recommend!

We bought a half an hour ride and enjoyed it a lot! The dogs are friendly and happy. It’s a great place with great service. All dogs are extremely smart and well trained. The ride was a real fun and made our day! Thank you to the owners for this great experience.

I want to first address the negative reviews. Almost every negative review feels like they've never set foot at this establishment. They found everything they can think of that MAY be wrong with a dog sledding place and threw it on here without proof that they've even been here to just defame the business. My time here has shown me that the owners took care of their dogs and that every dog was happy, energetic and loved to pull the sleds. These dogs enjoy their environment and these businesses would be shut down if they were caught not abiding by proper laws and policies.My family chose to do the 30 minute ride. 2 people are on each sled, one driver and one passenger. You can swap out as well. The track was fun. It was spacious and a decent length.The dogs were friendly and energetic. Not one felt like they'd ever bite or disobey their owners. The friendliness of the animals showed how well trained they were. A scared, rabid or untrained dog would not be fit to see random strangers much less pull a sled.This is a great experience. Definitely an activity to bring your family too. HOWEVER, coming from Toronto the drive was near 2 hours long. Have another plan / do other things because spending the whole day doing this may push it. I can't speak much about the 2hr version so I'll leave it at this.This is a great and enjoyable activity. Worth the price and the owners and dogs were great. Add this to a trip to blue mountain and youll have a great weekend.

I had a great experience with them on Saturday. So did the other people who came at the same time slot as us. The thing about people commenting about these dogs being chained and tied up in the cold is a little ridiculous. Learn about these dogs, the environment in which they grow up in and the temperament of the dogs. While I was there, the dogs were clean, fed meat and the new born puppy were kept with his mom for comfort. If these people were evil, they would of kept them apart. These are honest people making a living, trying to give people an amazing experience. Bashing their business because of a lack of education about the matter is so backwards. Some people own huskies in tiny apartments and sometimes don’t even care for them the proper way, but they won’t get bashed for it. Be open minded people.

We had an excellent experience. My husband drove (first time) while our little one (1.5) and I sat. The trails were well groomed and the leader paid attention making sure we all had a good time. We had a short how to session". The dogs were very aware and responsive. Everyone was kind and helpful. Worth the drive from Mississauga. We will be back. Out little one laughed and cried out mush. As a sitter it's wise to bundle up. The driver could wear layers."
