Went to buy a car from Shogo. Met him in person and test drove it and it seemed great, just had to get it inspected. I set up an appointment with a mechanic friend right after the test drive and confirmed the date with Shogo. After that, he stopped communicating entirely. On the day I was supposed to pick it up for the inspection, I tried to contact him but received no response. Then, about 30 minutes before the inspection was to start, he emails me letting me know he has sold the car. Right as I'm about to leave to come meet him, he tells me he sold it. No communication, no transparency. I then had to call my mechanic and let him know that the car had already been sold. It is a holiday Monday, and my mechanic was doing me a favour on his holiday. Completely unprofessional behaviour. Shogo appears like a nice enough guy, but in reality he is just typical used car salesman. Stay away and save yourself the frustration.

Brycen is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He is willing to solve all my concerns along the whole process from hunting, bidding, logistics and delivery. This will be the place for my next import as I don’t think there’s any room to for them to improve anymore.

Was very impressed with the quality and value of the JDM vehicles on offer at GJI. Ended up taking home a 2000 Mitsubishi Pajero i/o after looking at a few options. Well priced and easy to deal with. Expect to be back!
