Nice staff and wonderful care

It was great to be here @ union villa during my placement. i learned a lot and importantly in serving with love and care to the residents. I thank union villa for the opportunity to put my profession into good practice. I highly recommend union villa for the seniors because the staff are so caring and compassionate.

Union Villa became my mother’s home. Soon after arriving, she was befriended by fellow residents and made to feel welcome by staff. There was always a program to attend or an activity to participate in. These kept Mom engaged, happy and active for over 9 years.During the two-plus years of the pandemic, the staff worked diligently, followed mandated health and safety protocols, often taking on multiple shifts to ensure the residents were cared for as well as possible. There were challenges, but they persevered. Slowly, but surely and safely, as Public Health permitted, Union Villa brought back volunteers, social time, group activities and more. It was a joy to see the feeling of “home” returning for everyone, staff and residents alike.Even as my mother's health naturally declined with age, she was cared for with compassion. I cannot express enough gratitude for the medical care and attention, physical therapy, dietary attention, outstanding recreational engagement, and spiritual care she received at Union Villa.

Excellent facility. Very caring g staff. Efficient, friendly, very Covid-safe. They are taking very good care of our brother. Thank you!

My mom is in safe hands and so.many activities for all residents to enjoy

Excellent caregivers here. My Mom's been here for 12 yrs.now and her same caregivers have been looking after her for 10 of those years. Even the ones who knew her from the beginning still come and see her and us and remember us all by name.We're always kept up to date on any changes to her health.The food quality is excellent and appetizing. Overall excellent facility-highly recommend it.

Wonderful, caring and dedicated staff. Clean and bright place. Follows infection prevention and control protocols for the health and safety of residents, staff and visitors. COVID-19 Pandemic is very well managed.

One of the most notable aspects of this community is the combination of professionalism and personal warmth exhibited by staff here.You might see an example of that the moment you walk in the door, where you are likely to find staff working closely with seniors and guests or simply engaged in friendly conversation. During my placement, I have seen how dedicated and passionate the people who are working in this facility.Residents and staff are the highest priority. In times of difficulty, they have the readiness to offer help. Thanks to Ms. Abby (CEO) and Ms. Claire (HR Manager) for giving me the chance to be part of the workforce, and for motivating me to pursue my dream career. And to the rest of the staff, thank you for all the values, knowledge and skills that were inculcated in my mind and heart.Truly the hallmark of life at UVHS are the contentment and happiness of the people working and living here.Ahmed Elrabie
