Chartwell Arundel has been wonderful to work with. The whole process was so easy and I felt very comfortable moving my dad into this facility. I see him everyday and I have never once had an issue with staff or any of the care he receives. Huge shoutouts to Donna, Stephanie, Barb, Patti and Lisa for being so wonderful with him and making him feel at home.

Chartwell Thunder Bay is a fantastic home that offers a peace of mind not only for those living in the home, but for family members too. Having a loved one in a congregating setting during a pandemic can be unsettling based on what you hear and watch on the news, but the management team and staff at Chartwell have been able to keep all the residents safe and free of COVID-19 by having all the proper protocols in place. Even on the weekends this home runs smoothly and Stephanie the psw has been a tremendous help on many occasions!Each week we get a very informative email update from Nick that outlines any new COVID updates and how the home is doing, this has been a breath of fresh air knowing that my loved one is being protected.Thank you to Nick and his team for keeping Chartwell Thunder Bay safe and a great place for seniors to live

From the start of this adventure, I found Chartwell to be extremely helpful and accommodating. When I couldn't get a two-bedroom apartment at Isabella or Glacier Ridge, they quickly connected me with Nick at Chartwell Thunder Bay. From that point on, I feel that my parents and my family have been very well served by the team at Chartwell Thunder Bay - from setting up their apartment; making sure they are healthy and engaged as much as possible; and following up quickly on the minor concerns that I have brought forward. They have supported my parents through a very difficult transition from North Carolina (just as we headed into winter); cognitive changes; and health issues. As my mother noted to me - the weather is 'crazy' but the people make it all worth it.

Our mom had a medical emergency and the staff at Chartwell Thunder Bay reacted quickly and professionally to get the help mom needed. The staff showed a great deal of care and compassion and mom is now doing fine. We are grateful to all the staff who assisted and are happy that our parents have a safe place to live. Thanks to all!

The best decision that my grandmother ever made was making a move to Chartwell Thunder Bay. She’s very happy with the food, all of the included services, the helpful staff, the clean environment, the safe environment, and best part is that she is still living an independent life.

The Chartwell in Current river has become a genuine new home for Mom. When Mom goes out for appointments or visits, the staff welcomes her home like a family member. They are aware of Mom and engage her with positivity and consistency.The experience has been beyond our expectations.

My mother has been at Chartwell for over 7 years now. She is presently 90 years young. With aging comes additional things that require help and Chartwell has been a life saver for her and for myself as her only caregiver here. The staff and management are more than helpful with suggestions and their excellent care for mom. It is a big bonus to have everyone on board in making her stay a wonderful experience and assisting myself with the comfort of having her in the right place. Chartwell is right up there with excellent service and compassion for the resident and their families.

This place is absolutely amazingly! I love the staff (Patty is so wonderful) and Donna the manager is exactly the kind of person I want taking care of my mum. My mum loves the people, the facility and the food. My mum’s room looks out over a forrest and she watches deer. She has blossomed since moving in and attends multiple exercise classes a day, attends live concerts and movie nights. She gained back her happiness and independence and I cannot be more grateful, or thank this place enough! I highly recommend it to anyone.

My mother spent 9 years at Chartwell Select Thunder Bay. She was very happy there - treated with respect & kindness and it was truly her home. The staff were attentive to her needs and she was loved.
