Lord have mercy. I gotta give credit to the instructors. I have no idea how they get up at 6am to lead a cycling dance rave with the energy of a sorority sister who just drank her body weight in Red Bull as they shout motivational quotes over EDM tracks featuring the Kirkland brand version of Pitbull and DJ Khaled.I went to the night class and got some fried chicken afterward. The drumsticks were a little dry.

On my very first class, I sprained my foot trying to get the cleat off the bike. Not sure what was going on but I just couldn’t get my foot to detach. I ended up taking my foot out of my shoe and trying to manually pull the shoe off. Finally, an assistant was able to wrench the shoe off the bike with both hands. The next day I could barely walk on my foot. I had to pay for a chiropodist, who told me not to exercise (or stand…or walk…) for two weeks. I did give SPINCO a call about this and they said someone would reach out to me. Still waiting for that call lol. It’s not the worst injury I’ve ever experienced and I’m lucky to have a job that allows me to sit all day, but it was very painful and has really stopped me from doing what I normally do. Class itself was fine but I definitely will not be going back.

It's a great place for beginners and if you are looking for loud music and are self motivated. However, if you can stretch a few bucks do your self a favor and go to Sweat and Tonic. Everything is better there, from studio, bikes and instructors.-Studio music is too loud and overpowers the instructors commands. There has been a few times were I am just riding on my end and unsure if the instructor wanted us to tension up or down.-Lack of rhythm and difficulty. Maybe I was in the intermediate classes but it often felt like there were no hill climbs or variations building up the ride.

I lived in Toronto for seven months and in the beginning I tried almost every spinning studio in order to find the best one for me. In the end, I sticked to this SPINCO location and came here regularly. The instructors as well as the staff at the front desk here are amazing. I felt very welcomed every time I walked in and the spinning classes are great. I found them to be harder than the ones in other studios simply because the instructors encourage you to add more resistance to your bike than they do in other studios. That doesn’t mean that the studio isn’t suitable for beginners though because you can definitely ride at your own speed without being judged.Special thanks to Meg! Unfortunately, she isn’t doing too many classes in the Spadina/Richmond location but I loved her classes. Not only were the music choices and vibes in her classes on point every single time, she is also an extremely nice person to talk to.The washrooms are also very clean, there’s a Dyson blowdryer and they’re usually not too crowded so that you don’t have to wait 15min to shower which I’ve experienced in other places.I’m gonna miss this studio a lot and can’t recommend it enough when you’re looking for a non-pretentious, challenging and fun spinning experience!

A very energetic place! The staff at the front desk and the instructors are all very nice. The studio is clean and organized. I really love the shower amenities. The app is also very easy to use.The only drawback I would say is that the music is way too loud for me personally. It would hit over 105db! I didn’t know about the noise level when I rode the first time, and my right ear was not comfortable for the whole day - just feel every sound I hear was from underwater. From the second class I have used earplugs so it has been fine since then.

As the largest spin establishment across the country, and growing, we had to check them out to see what the fuss was about. The vibes at SPINCO are similar to a lot of other spin studios we see now; white and black decor, concrete, modern and pristine with an underground feeling. The classes we took at their Spadina studio were challenging, although the instructors had very very different style, the facilities are flawless, and the prices are pretty competitive with similar spin studios in Toronto at $25 for a drop-in but a 50 Class pack will drive down the price to $17 per ride. They draw a loyal, young crowd, especially at the Spadina location but they're pretty welcoming to newbies so don't feel intimidated to check them out.

I did a ride downtown with the instructor Erika. Great choreography and an amazing edm/ trance playlist, I had so much fun! I also like the motivational words she would say during the ride, super encouraging.
