This store has a paint department. I asked for a waterproof patio paint for the winter (to protect the concrete deck) and they sold me an expensive sealant that is not waterproof ! Ignorance.Another time, they could not paint-match a wall colour for my sitting room - the staff member did not know how to use the scan machine in-store to copy my colour paint. Lack of training.

Web order was ready quickly. However on pick-up, cashier-attendant was obtuse and rudely treating the customer as an order number and not as human being with a family name despite the customer handing upfront his full valid driver's license with picture, name and address. When the $10 item ordered was finally handled to the customer (in 2 seconds) after complying to the employee's order number request, a sheet with the customer's name and address in large bold characters was on it and obviously the attendant had on purpose chosen to ignore the customer's name to rather find his order with an impersonal number forcing the customer to get to his car to check in his computer for the order number. For comparison, an order was placed with RenoDepot online and there was no such hassle on pick-up and order was quickly found using the customer's name + customer was asked for nature of the order ( safety check) and to sign for it acknowledging pickup of the order. Patrick Morin rep did not ask content of the order nor to sign for anything. The same Patrick Morin rep also 'rubbed it in' telling the humiliated senior customer that he was not fast enough with his searching of the order number in his computer in front of her (customer had to reply that he could not be faster than his computer) and that he should have given her the number of the order upfront, and not his family name, to make things simpler for her to start with. I think that employee is impolite, lazy and on a power-trip (even threatening the customer to call the supervisor if no order number was promptly provided) and not honoring the customer as a human being. Customer is not a number. Go to RenoDepot instead.

Smaller hardware store and limited amount of space to maneuver in with longer pieces. Staff are helpful but don't seem to really know about their stock.

Will go back, looking like good seasonal deals.

The best hardware store in the area. The staff is really very welcoming. Annik and Lea at the Paint Department are so helpful, competent and patient, you will find everything you need with them.

Nice layout. Friendly staff happy to help customers. For the one item I was after very good pricing compared to another large chain hardware store.I need to look at Patrick Morin more closely.

Good store! Mixed reactions. One day I've had an excellent service and the other one I've had not. In overall, I like this store more then other hardware stores near St-Sauveur.

Hard to find what we need, most of the time.

many employees but no service. there was even an employee who told me that they were busy. I'm going to shop elsewhere from now on.
