Rana has a warm professional way of working with children and parents. She is able to engage my child in developing his reading skills which he would rather avoid. She provides teaching to parents to help extend his practice after each session. We are so pleased to see our son reading with increasing confidence!

She is very professional, efficient and reliable. Rana has significant experience in various learning techniques in multi-disciplinary settings. Rana provided clear and cogent assessments, milestones and instructions, along with pertinent learning materials. Rana has an innate ability to motivate children and her direct intervention helped my son to overcome the challenges with his speech in a truly warm environment. Today, my son is a confident child, whose articulation in both English and French is terrific. We were referred to Rana after seeing our pediatrician.We were worried about what was going on with our son’s speech and language development.At 3 yrs old, unlike other children we noticed at his age, our son was having difficulty making sentences and was difficult to understand.Immediately when we met Rana, she made us feel at ease. She was professional, approachable and our son was comfortable right away.With regular therapy, his communication skills started increasing. My daughter began working with Rana in grade 5 and continued through to grade 10. My daughter has a learning disability in reading, writing and memory. We noticed very quickly that working with Rana was impacting her performance. She was more confident, successful and eager to learn. We noticed a big improvement in language based courses and this was confirmed with her assessments. We continued through the pandemic and Rana was able to do virtual meetings along with providing digital resources in her online environment. As a teacher of 30 years, I highly recommend Rana Gupta - her approach with children is by far - engaging and targeted towards the Ontario curriculum. We will return to Rana for literacy test preparation once EQAO announces the test! It was the consistent sessions with Rana that made the difference in my daughter's ability to move forward in language and into secondary school English. An English teacher's comment was that her writing was on par with grade 10 academic (even though she is in an applied program).

Rana is a highly skilled professional. She is great with children, motivating, and always encouraging them! She involves parents in the process and has a style that makes everyone feel comfortable. Our son worked on his reading skills. Starting Grade 1, he was having great difficulty reading simple words. He didn’t like to read and we were worried. Over a short period of time, Rana helped him through the process. She used an organized, structured approach with our son who now can read full page length short stories. She provided a binder of practice exercises. Our son now enjoys reading and is reading out loud, in class, with confidence! He just completed his first Gr 1 book report on his own! We are so relieved and appreciate all of Rana’s support, guidance, and intervention!Highly recommended!
