This is a dodgy, dirty, dismal place that is used primarily to house the homeless. I didn't get a good sleep: noises down the corridor throughout the night, fear that my motorcycle would be vandalised, dirty pillow-slips, bug crawled over my hand that woke me, filthy carpet, etc. The money I saved by not staying at a more upper-scale alternative WAS NOT WORTH IT. Pay a few extra bucks and stay elsewhere!

Lorry (truck) driver stuck in town? The place offers shower facilities for a reasonable rate. Without truck stop, this is your only option.Didn't stay in the room, but very satisfied with what I got.

That are not pet friendly! Pets would be an upgrade to the critters living there!

The place is an unofficial govt housing site for welfare recipients! I wouldn't house my dog there!

Seems to be better with regards to drunks and vagrants loitering, since security was placed here!I personally had to stay here for a length of time. Police prescence frequently, but it's better than freezing to death - ahem...

We stayed here on November 17th, November 18th and the morning of November 19th. I can easily say it was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. It was me, my mother, my grandmother and my younger sister. We were told that my sister and I could not stay because my mother’s medical insurance only covered a room for 2 people, and if it was covered for 2 people only 2 people can go in the room. We asked if it is any more expensive for 4 people. The lady said that it’s not, meaning this made no sense. What if a couple had a child? Would they kick the child out? We asked the lady at the front desk that exact question and she answered yes. After about an hour with trying to get a room, we just ended up paying for it. My mother came to Goose Bay concerning her medical condition. She has multiple sclerosis, meaning her immune system is low and the first time we stayed here we found used cigarettes and beer cans, which is obviously not a good sign for someone with a low immune system. The staff must not have cleaned the rooms because it was so dirty. The room was also freezing. There were things written on the inside of the drawers, in fact one of the writings said, “I don’t know who you are, but I will find you and I will kill you”, which is shown in this photo. It sure is a great way to scare a child. There are carvings in the leather chairs, there are no bathtub plugs and there are barely any towels. We paid for our bill on November 18th and wanted our receipt. We were told we would receive our receipt tomorrow, and when we asked why, we were told it’s the inn’s policy. This is a terrible place to stay. Don’t recommend at all!

The hotel is decent. Rooms are dated. No fridge, microwave, AC or fan in the room (fridges are available, but only for medical reasons). There is a restaurant in the hotel with great food at good prices. The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk of a grocery store, gas station, retail store, and A&W restaurant.

Even though it was the cheapest motel in the area, I would avoid if possible. The first room we were given had bugs on the sheets so we were given another. In the second room, I found a bible under my bed sheets. I'm not sure how that happens.Further, we were woken up at 3am by some sort of alarm which went silent after a few minutes. The lady behind the counter assured us that it was caused by a leak in the basement and not a fire.Do yourself a favor and book a local B&B instead.
