They have an amazing selection of board games but their prices are quite high. Much higher than another popular game store on Kingsway. But I still buy here because they have some games that are not so easy to find. I’ve always felt welcome by the staff too. A fun place to browse through to say the least.

I've been coming to Strategies for a while but I don't find the staff to be all that friendly or engaging. In my experience, they don't seem to try very hard to foster loyalty, rapport or repeat business. For example, despite having spent hundreds of dollars there, I had to negotiate pretty hard just to return one unopened paint pot. This experience, combined with their pretty high prices, makes me want to look at discount online retailers instead. Still, 3 stars for a good selection in stock.

We came here recently, looking for a family board game that would be suitable for both young and old. And, the one, that we can keep for a few years.The people were friendly and helpful. They explained and suggested several games.We looked at a few of their suggestions and finally decided on Ticket to Ride".We have played the game and like it and very much appreciate the help we got from the store."
