Memramcook Valley Golf Club

Memramcook Golf has always been one of my favorite. It’s has a good mix of long straights courses and a few dog legs and more technical course. Their Par 3 has their own personalities. So in all fairness, if I had rated them last year they would have received a solid 4 to 4.5 stars. However I’m quite disappointed to their recent spike in prices. Although they added a driving range, (which was always there, they just finally decided to make use of it) the recent spike in price is not justified by any improvement in the court, amenities or customer services. It’s the same old, same old. Discounts? Offering a 18 hole for the price of a 9 hole only benefits those who intended to play a 18 in the first place. Myself and the people I know tends to already know what they’ll play before getting to the court so these incentives don’t really change customer behaviours. So its quite obvious for any local player that the price spike is purely opportunistic as the closest competing gold course went private last year and pushed a lot of their usual players into other gold course in the area. Once again, the customers are getting either less or not ouch more for a higher price. There is a form a hypocrisy in that and as a customer it insults me.

Honestly THE BEST greens I’ve played in 2022 so far. The course is exceptionally well taken care of this year, cups are cut precisely, and greens were very soft and well managed. Some welcome challenges, and other straight up and down holes offered a great level of variety.

Excellent course hidden in a small town. The fairways were in outstanding condition! Greens were also in excellent condition and man were they tough. The only complaint I have about this course is that there is no course map on the scorecard or photo of the hole from the tee, so if you haven't played there before you potentially have no idea what the hole looks like.

Best value after 1pm on Sundays. 2 green fees and a cart for $50+tax. Course is in great shape. It usually takes 3.5 to 4.5 hours to play a round.

Went for the qualifiers for the Jeux de l'Acadie mountain bike team. Didn't play golf, but the venue was nice!

Fun course to play, definitely a challenge for me. Would be nice if sand in traps was of better quality. Staff are friendly, just the basics in the pro shop. Definitely will play this course again.

I walked this course before it opened this spring and it already looked good. Greens looked very nice. No winter damage. I like the layout. Nice course for the money.

Was a great place to play, the two staff were very friendly and the course was very fun and had a great view everywhere I looked. The green were fast and well taking cared off. Lota of hills and hazars. This is my first time here and probably not the last.

Wide open, not many woods to lose a ball. One of the best courses in the region.

This is a fantastic course for a wide range of handicaps. The fairways are narrow and the rough is, well, rough. The par 4's are long and a few par 5's can be eagled, if you dare to go for it. The greens are average in quality but they are very slopey, to say the least. It's affordable and the Village works hard at keeping it going. The yearly rates are affordable and it's only a 20 minute drive from Dieppe. Try it out!
