The morning class spends the first 30 minutes of the hour long class warning up with various exercises using the kettle bell and calisthenics, which is perfectly fine. However, the last 30 minutes of the class is spent on the heavy bag hitting combos as the instructor calls them out. It's great for conditioning, but does not teach one the fundamentals of boxing. Ie. No pad work, no combo sparring, doesn't work on footwork, doesn't teach one how to parry a jab, slip under a punch, properly execute a particular punch, etc.

I really like this place for conditioning and hitting the bag. I am speaking of the workout schedule, not specific training for boxing. That is separate from the scheduled workouts. The workouts still have experienced boxing trainers who will fix form, and help you when you ask. If you want more, simply ask and they can direct you properly. They have a variety of trainers, which I like as no one workout is the same nor 100% different. There is the old school and new school styles. A big new facility is a plus.
