I called and spoke with Jamie. He showed up the same day. Gave me a quote that was fair. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I booked them for the following Thursday. They arrived and took 3 large maple trees down. The clean up after was great, they even stacked the cut wood. They were back the following Wednesday to do the stump grinding. This was also done very well. It was alot of heavy work and we are very happy with the work that was done. Thank you to Jamie and crew.

We hired Sawyers to remove some large spruce trees from our yard as their quote came in the lowest. Big regret.They continually did not show up and I continually was cancelling plans etc, to ensure I was home when they were supposed to come. No one would call to say not coming they just didn't show up. We started calling every time they wouldn't come and ask WHEN? It became a joke.They finally did show up about a month after they were originally were supposed to and during the tree removal one of the trees fell on the house and cause damage to our brand new soffits, eaves, etc. I was brought outside and shown the damage and told someone would be by ASAP to fix it all, at no cost to us. They also cut electrical lines from the house to the garage and didn't let us know and our garage had no power, we had to hire an electrician to fix it. Days later they were repeatedly calling asking for payment and we said we aren't paying until our house is fixed. It is now two months later, and again we have not received any calls from them and they are dodging us. We have called numerous times to ask when someone will be by to fix it and receive nothing. Wish we would have paid a little more and went with a better company.

Sawyer's removed an extra large evergreen for us. We were a bit nervous as it had been planted a bit too close to the house about 40 years ago, but they did an excellent job. I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to get it down. Really nice work.

An estimator showed up to provide a quote to remove a tree, and a bucket crew came within a week to do the job. They thought a climber was needed, and said they would pass the job to another crew that would come the next day. It's now been more than four weeks. I have telephoned Sawyers' office four times over that time asking when we can expect the tree to be removed. Each time I have had to repeat the quote number, who did the estimate, etc., and been promised that someone would call call me. So far, crickets. This is atrocious customer service, and indicates a lack of professionalism from a long-established business. I have hired Sawyers previously and been satisfied, but things appear to be going downhill. It's been a completely frustrating waste of time.Update: Less than hour after I posted the review, I got a call from Sawyers saying a crew was on the way. They did a nice job including the cleanup, and were apologetic about the lack of communication.

Tim quoted my tree pruning request and provided the quote on the spot and advised that it would be later in the month before someone could come out, but he would call ahead.I had a call early afternoon and was given an approximate time that the crew would arrive. The crew arrived on time and reviewed what I wanted done as per my quote. They were very friendly, polite, and efficient and did a great job in taming my elm and maple trees. Excellent clean up and all thanked me for having them work in my yard.I have used Sawyer's several times now and would not hesitate to recommend them. I will have them back again.

We did work for Sawyer's 11 months ago and still have not been paid for our services. Do not do work for this Company owner keeps telling me someone will be take care of next week. 11 months later still not taken care. Be very certain to take payment before doing work for them.

We had booked Sawyer's to remove a tree and remove the stump back in September of 2020.My wife and I were not at home during the tree removal and when we returned we found our back patio littered with sunflower seed shells. It is disrespectful and unprofessional for workers to be spitting on their customer's property at anytime, however, during a global pandemic, the disrespect and unprofessionalism is taken to another level.The tree was removed on-time, however it took until July of 2021 for the stump to be removed. Sawyer's gave us the run-around multiple times and finally subcontracted it out to another company. The second company completed the job in less than an hour.I will never use Sawyer's again, nor would I ever recommend them.

Sawyers was probably the worst customer experience I have ever had.Basically a lot of calling and saying they were coming and then not showing up. A lot more calling, being switched to different people. Being quoted once and then quote again for more. Being messaged saying they were coming one day and then not showing up or not replying to messages. Not answering phone calls. Being told to leave a message and then not calling me back. In the end we didn’t get any services because they kept saying they were coming and never showed up.I have never contacted a business that has been so unreliable.

I had Sawyers give me a quote to remove large trees in my yard. They gave me a quote at the end of May. I did not question the quote, I agreed to do the work. I called probably 6 times in total, each time I was told they would be there in 1 or 2 weeks. Finally by mid August I had the tree whisperer come to give me a quote. They were 25% cheaper than Sawyers, they came within 1 week of giving the quote, exactly when they said they would, they did an excellent job. I am very unhappy with Sawyers. Because if the delay in having my trees done, I was not able to get the landscaping done in my yard that I planned. I highly recommend using a different company. All kinds of excuses, very unreliable.

When I called to have the tree removed, there was a big run around. they keep promising that some one will get back to us but no body bothered to inform. After 2 weeks of follow-up they finally told us they can remove the tree on June 23rd. I called in the morning to inquire about what time they will show up, they advised that job cannot be done today. There was never an instance when anyone at Sawyer's return our call or proactively informed us. Today again someone was supposed to give us a call back but after calling sawyers 3 times, we only got empty promises & nobody called us back.Very frustrated that they do not value other's time and have no courtesy to call back to keep customers informed. If anyone at sawyers read this, please check with phone operator that how many times we called to follow-up in past 3 weeks. we choose them to support the local business but very disappointed.
