Higher Ground Café
The location is perfect, most people end up here after their hike at Belfountain. It also seems to be the meeting space for bikers.There is limited seating inside and several tables (covered) outside.. besides serving bagels, pastries, ice cream, cold a& hot beverage, they also sell merchandise like honey & fudge etcI had the lemonade, Spinach & Feta Pastry & mango ice cream. All were good and reasonably priced.Overall, great place to check out when in the area.

It’s great place with outdoor and indoor sitting area …..love the location. They have lot of snacks and different verity’s of coffees and latte.They also sell the breakfast like sandwiches and bread toast. They have local honey and maple syrup…I believe they got it from the local villages. The girls at the counter are also super cool.If you are new to this area don’t forget to ask then the local guid. It will help you to explore the local and around places.

Great ambience. The coffee and ice cream were good. The quantity was a lot for the ice cream, however slightly on the sweeter side.

Higher Ground Café
Always love taking a drive to Forks of the Credit and checking out local cafes/restaurants/shops. Stopped by the Higher Ground Cafe in Belfountain early afternoon for a hot drink & quick bite to eat. Cozy space (although super busy), tasty drink selections, and good food options. We got a hot chocolate, latte, grilled cheese sandwich, and a lox bagel.

Loved it! Cool, calm and nice vibes. The cafe sits just at the center of Belfoutain, Ontario. Have been there a few times now. Their ice cream and baked products are top notch. Will definately visit again.

Love the Pistachio Ice Cream! Nice place to sit out on the patio or by the road on a bright sunny day. Gives vibes of a nice hill station with lot of bikers stopping and passing. If you’re anywhere in the Peel Region the. It’s a must visit. Local owned cafe so we all should support it.

Very cute coffee shop with the sweetest staff. Visited during the snow storm and it just looked magical inside out. Their lunch menu was awesome.. Had the vegetarian flatbread and chicken wrap with warm coffee, just made our day.

Quaint Cafe and lovely service, great place to stop in for a soup and sandwich. Pet friendly and great place for hikers. Saw many stop through on their hike. Also has pastries and other light fare. Will be back when up that way again

We discovered this sweet little cafe on our way to HB Automotive (best car mechanic in the GTA). It was late in the afternoon so we enjoyed coffee, a latte and delicious locally baked sweets (try the butter tarts); including gluten free selection (delicious). There are great sandwiches available too. The cafe is clean (bathrooms are clean too) staff is very friendly. Prices are $$.
