Millbrook Valley Trails

Beautiful well maintained trail network. Great trails for mountain biking, trail running and hiking!

I've been wanting to try these trails for a while. Very rooted with a lot of very old boardwalks and bridges. Not too technical or hilly. I mountain biked after a rain so it was a bit muddy; takes a while for it to dry. Very pretty area follows the river wth some lakes/ponds

A scenic location set in a small, beautiful town. Visiting this place, especially early in the day, is an amazing memory to have. It’s fun to walk around and take in the scenery, or you can choose to go on a longer hike.

A nice, short trail. Parts are a bit muddy but nothing complicated. Not too many bugs but still bring bug spray.

Nice for a leisurely hike. Not many people. Small parking lot. Beautiful surroundings.

Great trails, only saw 1 other couple on our 1+ hour walk! Lots of hidden gems for the little ones to discover.

Such a beautiful winter hike. We went back 2 days in a row to do the loop as a family. It was a great hike for kids and seniors. I was pleasantly surprised.

Late May 2022 weekday before noon. Much fly and mosquito on the way.The pamphlet, map provided at the Trail start and sign post along the path are not helpful. There is no orientation of the North nor Here you are". Post marked as Baxter Trail 2.8 km or Medda Mountain Trail 0.6 km are encouraged but Millbrook Trail instead actually. The early portion of 3km or so is up and down slope but manageble by adult but not family. The latter portion meanders along snaking creeks (Baxter Creek ?) on boardwalk some floating over water in the wetland. Sun is high in the sky near noon and temperature is already 27C and climbing to 30C soon.No mosquito repellant spray on body

We really loved this hike. There is a boardwalk on some part of the trail. Lots of different trees and ferns also. There is a part with lots of ants and mosquitoes but you’ll be ok as long as you are dressed properly and have a repellant on.

Its routes are very easy to access. With a very low level of difficulty making them very easy for those who do not have experience in hiking. There are not many parking options, but if you want to walk a little you can leave the car in the center of town and from there you can find access to its trails. If you are a lover of fishing around the orange loop you can find two small lakes in which you can do it.
