Thunderbird Square and Civic Plaza

Peace full place to sit and read a book. The scenery is beautiful with lots of free parking and seating. The library, police department, city hall, courthouse and works department surrounds the place but is far enough away that you don't get bothered. The reach is in reach and there are some lunch and coffee shops in lower level of the ministry building, so I believe there would be restrooms for paying customers. Nice days you can sit near the fountain and feed the local ducks when they're around, but I think it's frowned apon by some. Still, we are caretaker's of the earth and if someone wants to befriend a small animal so be it. This place is all so a memorable for our fallen heroes.

Very beautiful park, especially now with everything in full bloom... more and more homeless people hanging around there, some either on drugs or drunk. Not a good thing to have around a public library with children coming and going all day!! Would give 5 stars if not for that issue.

Beautifully designed and maintained public Garden/flower/Water park surrounded by the Abby Courthouse, Police, City Hall, Library, Deli, University, Art Gallery, Auditorium, Friendship Tree, Statues and Plaques, Soldier/Police/Municipal historical monuments and such. Kick back on a bench, wiggle yer toes in one of the many water fountains, visit with a friend (2 or 4 legged) have a picnic, peaceful stroll or alone time with the best of seasonal Flowers, Trees, Shrubs, etc. Really nice for a slow summer stroll while canine explores all the shrubbery along the path around the Library, over to the Courthouse under the Canvas of the Largest Trees around, over to the lovely water fountains just off SFWay, down the stairs, ramps, a nod to a local office manager enjoying a latte stretched out on one of the many benches, across the pavement park and over to see what's going on at the Gallery then over to the Husky for a screamer. You just killed an hour or more and topped it off with an Ice Cream Slushy. Nice.

Went there for Abbotsford Food Truck Festival and I can say it's one of the nicest parks" or outdoor spaces I've been to in a while. The grounds were clean and manicured

Great paved area in the pattern of a giant thunderbird. Used for assembled like remembrance day. Surrounded by park with monuments or memorials, benches and pathways for walking. A pleasant popular park. (also a location in the augmented reality games ingress and Pokémon go.

Small quiet park with memorials, statues, and fountains. Would love to see the big fountain running. There's some pretty little benches, lots of flowers, birds, and rabbits bouncing about, giving a nice tranquil feeling in the city.Currently under construction in some parts.

Always clean and well cared for. We enjoy going for walks through and around the square, and Thank everyone who cares for the property.

Small area, mostly just an area to walk through to the library or the city hall not really a park at all it has a couple benches around and a fountain that isnt on often but it's kept really well and does has nice flowers around in the spring/summer
