Eganridge Resort, Golf Club & Spa

My husband and I just had our wedding there last month, and everything was perfect! Jason, the event manager/property coordinator, was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, always answering our questions and making sure our special day would be perfect. The venue and rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious and all the staff was super friendly and accommodating! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that we, and our guests, had what we needed and played a huge part in creating an incredible, unforgettable weekend for us, our family and friends!

We booked a room with a jacuzzi the only reason why we drove two hours ! They gave us an accessible room with no tub. They said they were fully booked and could not give us a room with a tub although we paid for it. They would not refund our money or compensate us for anything. The service was horrible. The manager didn’t even come to talk to us We will not be returning here.

My husband and I drove up for a quick relaxing getaway last week. The food was delicious! It was nice to have a romantic, intimate, fine dining experience the first night, and we went to the pub downstairs the second night. Both were excellent! Service was great. The staff treat you like they've known you forever, and went above and beyond to make us feel special. We will definitely be bringing our children next time, and telling our friends about this lovely resort!

Tried to check in.. ended up leaving because front desk had no idea how to accept a cash payment for room and put a credit card as just the deposit.. .after a few minutes of being humiliated, my guest who i hadn't seen in 18 years told them enough was enough.. tried to contact management and was pretty much told it was new staff.. without watching the video pointed out I needed a credit card.... which was available to them.. and continued to make excuses until I insisted to get owners contact info.. which he refused to give me.. thanks Jason for a memorable weekend

Great venue. Great food. Beautiful views and staff were accomodating. Reasonably priced. Only issue we had was restaurant closed at 9 and we were politely encouraged to leave by 930 when we had a full bottle of wine.

Our family held a small memorial for our Mother here, and stayed in the Dunsford House for the weekend. Helen organized everything and was wonderful, as were all the staff. We greatly appreciate the support, kindness and efficient attention we received.The Chef accomodated several allergies, and the food was excellent!This setting is very special.

We had attended a social event in the main hall Saturday evening, and had pre-arranged to stay for the night/make a weekend out of it. A very good meal for the banquet, as was breakfast next morning. Service was excellent by all the staff. Very large, clean room provided a very comfortable stay. I don't golf, (yet) but we'll be back by boat this summer to take another mini-break. I recommend.

DO NOT BOOK an overnight if you have a possibility of not making it. Overnight packages are $$$ and the moment you book they keep 1/2 of your deposit with no chance of refund or altering to another option such as dinner or golf. The policy is on their website and they quote it back to you repeatedly. DO NOT BOOK with this resort. There are better deals all over Ontario.Update:The resort has replied to my review saying I have bullied them by simply stating their policies and procedure. They were flexible enough to offer me alternatives that were the same as the original service that didn't meet my needs and only benefited them receiving more funds from me. As a small business I understand that policies are in place to protect from last minute cancellations, but we cancelled 8 days out and lost hundreds with them renderingzero services. Their policy states that with 7 days we wouldve lost 100% of our funds if a cancellation happened and no acceptable alternative can be found. Add to this that we were personally emailed and told we should be ashamed of ourselves" for not happily losing hundreds of dollars for zero services rendered. This may be a nice place to attend but I reiterate DO NOT BOOK a stay here unless you are 100% sure you can attend because you risk being out hundreds of dollars. Please read their policy thoroughly and consider if they are fair and worth the risk.Update #2Jason
