Tin Hat Hut cabin

*bring ample water*Hiked mid Sept 2020. Hut was *empty on arrival*. Hiked up counter clockwise from Lewis Lake parking area - recommend this route to on the way up, is significantly quicker than the return which is beautiful but a looooong slog.As always you should bring ample water. On the counter clockwise route there is no water source along the trail. We took 3L each and had to wait till we got to the lake for breakfast and coffee.Also be sure to download the GPS for this trails as in a few places it is very easy to get lost - we did, despite having + following GPS, and had to bushwhack for a while to refind trail!Stunning hike though, would definitely return!

The climb there was absolutely fantastic! Recommend going!

Nice trail leading to the summit, great cabin with everything you need to have a fantastic stay! The outhouses up there are better than most I've experienced in more accessible places! Top notch gigs for the top os a mountain. Tent platforms are also available.

One of the most impressive facilities on the sunshine coast trail. Lovely view. You can drive close enough to be able to bring the family (kids), but it also means it could be busy.

two floors cozy cabin with upper floor as sleeping compartment and lower floor has a heating stove and table, and a pit around the corner.

Being a full on citiot from Toronto , I hated this camping experience. However if you like hiking etc... the best in Canada.

Really cool cabin, you can drive until the 2nd parking with an AWD, really easy and then it's just a 45mn, 2.4 km hike to the summit.

Best views of any North American cabin.

Grueling hike, unless you know the secret logging road parking lot on the Southwest side.Views from the top can't be beaten.
