I call them to ONLY look at my floor heating. They go out of their way to look at my furnace which was not on the original work order. I believe that the technicians are instructed to see if there is other work they can source while they are on site without the home owners consent. The furnace was working and causing me and my family no issues. They call me and say along with the issue regarding your floor, we have found that your furnace is old and may need replacing. I know that their quotes are always much higher than the industry. For the first time since I have dealt with them, I told them I am looking at other quotes and getting different opinions to see if what they are telling me is correct. Keep in mind that I have already spent over $20,000 with this company over the years. As we know it takes time to source quotes and get opinions. Today I get an email stating that if I do not approve their quote that they will call the propane company to turn the propane off to the entire house. This unethical behaviour needs to stop. The best way to stop strong arm sales tactics like this is to not use their service. Buyer beware. Below is the email I received.Dino,We have successfully repaired the in-floor heating and need to remind you that the issue with the furnace we told you needed replacing still needs to be addressed. On short notice, serviceman arrived promptly, was friendly, professional and very capable, Efficiently repairing an older air conditioner when I thought it might need to be replaced.Muskoka Mechanical is a good choice!

I talked a guy visiting my cottage, he promised to give me quote for installing central furnace, but never get reply, in next three weeks I called company at least 3 times, eventually I realized they do not do this project, but I do not understand why tell me not directly, doing business like this way it does not making any sense. So I strongly suggest to stay away from this company, DO NOT waste your time.

I have used this company for years and am always happy with them. Chris the Technician is an asset to the company. He is very professional and knows his work. The company is lucky to have Chris.

I called for service, its a holiday so i was told i could get emergency service but she was unable to tell me the rate. She also said she couldnt schedule me in for regular service if i waited and used the woodstove in the meantime. Very uninformed telephone reps. Not impressed with this as i have to keep turning the furnace off and on to keep it working. I would have paid the emergency overtime fees but i like to be informed before i make a decision and they were unable to do that.

There is absolutely no way that I would use this company solely based on the way I viewed their company van driving southbound on HWY11 today. Astronomical speeds, weaving around vehicles, riding everyone's bumper and then cutting them off when they would finally pass. If this is how dangerous your company acts in public. There is no way i would allow them in my home.

UNRELIABLE !!!At 2:30 pm my appointment was cancelled, as the technician felt it would 'take too long' to complete the annual cleaning of my furnace. I explained I had taken time off work and requested a weekend time for the re-schedule but was told I would have to pay extra, even though they were the ones cancelling & changing the appointment. I definitely would not recommend this company. Who knows if they’ll show up!

By far THE best service I have had from any contractor! On time, friendly staff, completed work as promised, professional install, clean and tidy, over and above the call of duty.
