Terrific business strategy. They are charging $230 just for an emergency appointment before the examination fee. It’s just business not for the wellbeing of pets. Business model treatments. Anyway, I was talking my pet to down island each time.

Recently moved to Port Hardy, and had an incredible experience! Our pup hurt a nail while playing outdoors with her brother, and they fit us in, right away. Super friendly staff, and very helpful and caring veterinarian. Very lucky to have such an amazingly capable and caring clinic, in town!

Went to the Port Hardy vet with our dog with a lump under his eye they suggested we go all the way to Victoria and charged extra to write a referral for an extra $50 when they could have sent us to Campbell River had everything done there and not wasted all the driving time and a hotel for the night. Changed the dog's diet to straight vegetables 1 and 1/2 Weeks Later the lump dried up and fell off dog is getting better by the day.

Lovely safe environment felt comfortable leaving mycat to get fixed and they made sure we where kept in the loop on the procedure that was done! an very Kind to us thank you for your services i have 2 cats and went to there 2nd branch in Port mcneil an received 5 star service as well!!!! thanks you NIVH

Kind and caring vet and staff. On my first visit my cat had to be put down, cancer, and the staff made his last moments as peaceful as possible and were very empathetic, which really helped me through a difficult decision. I would recommend them.

Some of the most knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff I've ever met. Special needs kitty has an amazing team now. These lovely folks are warm and caring with the fuzzy people, and very gracious with the humans too. Trust them, they're worth it.
