This location needs to have a huge reality check and change. The teenagers are rude and entitled and apparently not wanting to work but just hangout with their friends and give out free food! I witnessed 6 different free ice cream orders free of charge in the friend group that was there. You had one solid employee named Amber who went above and beyond and literally ran the whole front and drive thru and not to mention our food order too. I went up to get our ice cream for after our meals and the young boy employee asked what I wanted then told Amber “you got this” as she was doing literally everything else. She looked like she was almost in tears with absolutely no hell at all from any of the other so called staff that was there playing around, running around and flirting with the friend group that was there. I commend Amber for all her work she did in just that hour ish we were there. She even had a girl not ask but tell her she was leaving g her shift now and to lock up the lobby cause she was going home she didn’t have time to help with her closing shift. Really? Since when does a young teenager tell authority what her new shift is and what she will do. It’s absolutely ridiculous how those young kids were acting and treating an older employee. I just met this Amber today and the only reason I know her name is because I asked her so I could give her credit for all the work she was doing. She literally was doing the work of an entire store. Amber your a hard worker and a rockstar! That’s the only thing keeping this location up and running.

Worst DQ location I’ve ever been to and I typically love Dairy Queen. The place is a mess, the fries were cold and tasted like old oil. They were also only half full but the teens insisted it was a correct portion. My blizzard ended up being some ice cream with a big clump of Snickers in the bottom but after seeing the filthy state of the mixer, I decided not to have them fix it. Very disappointing. Don’t waste your money.

Waited 20 minutes for 5 shakes. Children are running the store. They got confused on what order they were working on. Another couple was waiting 30 minutes for their food which was then thrown away because it was waiting next to the cook too long. They messed up 3 out of the 5 ice creams we ordered and was just giving ice cream away to people because people were leaving the store because of the incompetent people working there. This is the worst DQ we have ever been to and will NEVER be going there again. Don't have children running the store!!

Tonight I went through the drive thru I ordered two s’more blizzard both with extra toppings. I tried one and realized it was a butterfinger, a little irritating but no big deal. I took it in and said that I ordered a s’mores blizzard, and said the one I received was butterfinger. The person at the counter said “Oh no, I made this one it’s s’mores.” I said no it’s not s’mores, she continued telling me that it most definitely was because she made it. I told her that it was not s’mores a final time and she whipped the blizzard off the counter and slammed the blizzard in the trash. She walked over started making it again and asked someone to finish it, she continued doing other things and continued slamming everything around. Another person brought it over and gave it to me, it was a Heath blizzard. At that point I was done, I left. Started driving home and the second blizzard that was supposed to have extra, had 4 pieces of candy, all on top. They lost my business, and based off the reviews it seems like many others. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I ordered 5 mix and matches for $5, 5 cheeseburgers and 5 fries plus a flamethrower burger. The cashier was having trouble ringing up the 5 mix and matches…total came to 32.47 which looked right to me. Sat down with my family to eat, they tracked me down 5 minutes later and made me pay $1 more because they didn’t ring me up correctly! The excuse was that the person ringing me up was training…but she was the only person up front. To track me down after the fact and demand that I pay is outrageous. At the bottom of the receipt it says order closed. The $1 mistake should’ve been on them. Fortunately the food was good…that’s about all the hood I can say.

Today, on my way home, I stopped in at the Dairy Queen in Ontario. What a phenomenal experience. The professional& courteous man that helped me was named John. He knocked the customer service out of the park. He was very upbeat, positive and just had a good vibe about him. The store was clean. It looked professional. The food was outstanding as well. The hamburger looked and tasted great. The fries were awesome and I love their fry sauce. Keep up the good job, Ontario DQ. John, you did an outstanding job!

The blizzards were good. Service was horrible & the food was cold & mushy, fries were undercooked, hamburger buns were hard, and the burgers tasted “off” (one tasted like gas). The 2 employees that were actually working, were trying hard to get orders complete, but there was yelling and arguing between staff, and some left mid shift. Although a couple were trying, it took almost 45 mins to get our food and it was pretty horrible; we ended up throwing almost all of it away. I expect it to take a while here, because it always does, but today was so bad we won’t be back.

Usually we are thrilled with the Ontario Dairy Queen, but today not only did the service suck (rude and unhelpful) but the expensive Blizzards were awful - and very messy on the outside they didnt even clean off - they were supposed to be Royal Strawberry Cheesecake... a spoonful of the strawberries was on the top only, NO cheesecake bits, and all the rest was a disgusting, not yummy, mix of icecream and Graham cracker dust... I couldn't even finish it. I would have taken it back in but after the awful experience at the window I figured what would be the point. Do better DQ.

The staff was rude. I ordered a blizzard with 2 toppings the girl rang it up as something that is discontinued. Was told they could not make it so I said can you just make a blizzard with the 2 toppings I requested. I was told no we don’t do that so I was given something I didn’t want. Then there was no changing station in the bathroom. This is the worst DQ I have ever been to and the staff could use some training in customer service.
