Aikido Dai Etsu Dojo
We have had an excellent experience at Aikido Dai Etsu for the last five years. Both of my children (one young and one pre-teen) attend and enjoy their time spent in a healthy, encouraging environment. Sensei Nguyen and his helpers teach the children the physical skills of Aikido, and at the same time they encourage respect for oneself and others, self-discipline, body awareness, and camaraderie. Aikido is non-competitive, but there are belt levels to achieve and always something to learn. Aikido Dai Etsu is a friendly, supportive place to learn Aikido, build self-confidence and skills, and feel like part of a community. I would recommend Aikido Dai Etsu to anyone.

Aikido Dai Etsu Dojo
My 7 yr. old started aikido about 2 months ago and really enjoys every class. It’s something he looks forward to every week. He’s not the most physically coordinated kid, but I can already see a big improvement in him. I like that it’s a non-competitive, non-combative form of martial arts. It is about self defense and knowing how to deflect and redirect an attacker’s strength away from you. I also appreciate that they teach their students the importance of humility, and not brag about their capabilities. I would highly recommend this dojo to any parent for their kids.

My daughter has been taking Aikido with this organization for nearly 3 years and Sensei is awesome! His teaching style is fluid, effective, meticulous with form and is fun as well. It is a great positive environment for my daughter to learn self defence, self discipline, respect and patience, while simultaneously increasing her self esteem. She also has a sense of purpose and accomplishment as she advances in her belt levels. I think every child as well as adult would benefit greatly from Aikido, Having experienced it through my daughter, I highly recommend Aikido Dai Etsu.

We have our 6 years old son with Aikido Dai Etsu Dojo for a couple months now; we are really happy with his progress, he really has fun and he learns a lot, especially how to stay focused and be a good team player. Also we do appreciate that payment is made for every two months and not at once for a full year, plus it is a very reasonable cost for classes twice a week. Highly recommend this aikido school.

My son has been with this Aikido group for the last year. We were looking for a defence based Martial Arts and this was the one. Sensei Bennie and Sensei Dzung are great with the kids. My son loves going weekly and is excited to see his group and friends. Highly recommend!

Aikido Dai Etsu Dojo
My son has been involved with Aikido Dae Etsu Dojo since he was 6 years old. He is now almost 17. It has been a fantastic experience for him. He has gained so much by being a part of this group. His physical abilities and skills have progressed over the years but so has his self confidence and ability to self regulate. He has ADHD and Sensei Nguyen and the other instructors have always been very patient and understanding with him. Not only do students learn the physical skills, when they have reached a certain level of proficiency, they are able to help teach other students which gives them a whole new skill set. The Dojo emphasizes respect for one's self, the instructors, each other, and the community as a whole.

This is a great Dojo and I would highly recommend it.The children's class is very well run and my child has had an excellent experience here. Sensei teachers the group of children with patience and enthusiasm. The same can be said for the adjust class. Having trained at a few Dojo's I can definitely see this is a quality Dojo with a great instructor!
