Ed had my 9.9 outboard motor in and out of there in half a day! Incredible service, very friendly and extremely patient. Very pleased with the service! I would highly recommend this shop. No BS, no upsell, no uneccesary extras. Perfect.

Always friendly guys and they have werthers original on the counter so I end up spending too much time there just to get my sugar fix. If they don't have it they get it fast. The mechanic Darryl" really knows his stuff when it comes to keeping all of my mercury engines in top shape."

These guys are honest and are forthright with any thing that is going to come up with any repair I wouldn't take my boat anywhere else. We are lucky too have such a place in the Comox Valley.

Very helpful and nice people, lent me the tool i needed to lift my Merc off the boat. Just earned all my business and referrals.Edit: charged me a rental fee upon returning the tool, which is fine just mislead in thinking their would not be a fee.

I had a very bad set of experiences with CV Marine. We purchased a used boat that was serviced previously by CV Marine. We had a engine fire when the cooling clamp malfunctioned and caused all of the cooling to leak. This caused melting of hoses and overheating emitting vast quantities of toxic smoke.Sea and Rescue had to come to assist us. We took the vessel to another dealer and they showed us several areas where CV Marine used non marine recommended parts. We were told that 2 fuel pumps were installed - one mechanical and one electronic. They told us it was dangerous having an electronic pump as it is on every time the boats battery is turned on. We were told this means high fuel pressure is exerted on the engine increasing the likelihood of a fire.We also could not use the starboard gas tank and asked CV in a letter to look into it starboard gas tank ( possible water in tank or fouled fuel )"and CV checked it and told us it was okay to use with no sign of fouled fuel or water. We used the tank and the engine failed after trying to start it for 2 hours in Comox Harbour . We had CV rep visit the boat at the Marina and they determined the carb was not working and the starboard tank was filled with diesel. This despite CV Marine telling us they checked the fuel and ran it through an oil/water separator. After this discovery CV sealed the starboard tank and told it would cost us approximately $1
