The Toronto Coach Terminal is the central bus station for inter-city services in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 610 Bay Street, in the city's Downtown. Walking distance to the country's best hospitals, Toronto city Hall and the financial district.

Avoid this place if possible. It has not been renovated in over 25 years. The seats are plastic, uncomfortable, and its crowded. There might as well not be WIFI (not free with poor connection). They terminal layout it terrible, the doors to the bus line ups exit directly into the #1 bus stop, so you're forced to cut through into a line up of people. Good luck getting to your bus stop without any walking path or MAP to guide you, as you must navigate through the 9 lane BUS parking lot avoiding the massive buses coming and going around you. Still not over yet, since your lineup runs directly across the parking lot, so everyone waiting has to move out of the way whenever a new bus arrives. The bathrooms are downstairs in a sketch area. The whole building has a very sketch feel. The clerks have a depressed feeling. Its just gloomy, like waiting in a bathroom. You're even charged a 3$ service fee for using this horrible terminal, so that they may one day renovate it. There website is a joke (broken links, outdated contact number, poor map directions, looks like it was made in the 90's).I really would like to add something positive to this review, but other than that they have night security (which should be expected at such a major terminal!), there's nothing else I can think of. For being the only coach terminal in Toronto, I can't believe its in such poor condition. It is easily the worst coach terminal I have visited while travelling across Canada. It desperately needs renovations, and since I've been to it many times, I figured it was time for a review.

This coach terminal has a very good interior. I can't understand people with negative comments. There are many seats, it is warm inside, clean toilet for free. You can buy coffee or food from vending machines or in a shop. There is no security risk from my point of view. I spent there many hours waiting for a coach without any problem.

The terminal itself is nice and relatively clean. I once worked for Ontario Northland and know the transportation business well. During my last visit a bus was considerably late but no update was given and passengers waited outside in the cold for 45 minutes. I update my reviews so I hope the next visit is a better one.

The Toronto Coach Terminal, a historic Art Deco building, once served as the city's central intercity bus station until its replacement by the Union Station Bus Terminal in mid-2021. Opened in 1931 as the Gray Coach Terminal, the two-story structure adorned with Travertine limestone was designed by architect Charles B. Dolphin. Initially featuring five platforms, the terminal later expanded to nine, finally settling on seven platforms with two numbered bus bays each.Listed on the City of Toronto's heritage buildings register since 1987, the property at Bay and Elizabeth Street was identified as an underutilized asset by the Toronto City Council in 2019. The council saw the potential for redevelopment to address city needs, such as affordable housing, employment opportunities, and community infrastructure. In April 2022, the council approved a plan to transform the site into a mixed-income, mixed-use development, featuring affordable housing and a paramedics multi-hub. The city's real estate arm announced in November 2022 that it is currently seeking bids from developers for the project. The redevelopment of the Toronto Coach Terminal promises an exciting new chapter for this historic landmark.

A medium sized but well maintained bus terminal. This is where you board a Greyhound or a Megabus. It is also easily accessible. It also houses a convenience store and an eatery within its complex.

Hi I worked in one of the cafes here. Most employees are part time in this Cafe and come from other countries. The food we make is acceptable as it's mostly not something we are used to making back in our country. Talking about the terminal, the staff are mostly good but the management is bad. They don't want to upgrade the building or the amenities even if they could. They don't even close the terminal for covid emergency and the management even forced all the cafes to work. The janitors here are really good and work very hard to keep the terminal clean. The security guards are good too, they take your safety very seriously. While I do not recommend the terminal much, please do try out the cafes. We are here working for you, just so you can have some service even through these tough times. :D

Wonderful very clean and spacious storage lockers for your luggage (even large suit cases fit) at a great price - only $5.00 per 24 hours !Lots of storage lockers are available.Great luggage storage solution if you are checking-out and don't want to haul your luggage around with you until you check-in to your other hotel.Review by RodenReviews

I’m not pleasant with my experience at the terminal at all. The greyhound counter staff were very rude, looking at us and giving us attitude with an order accent. A young guy and a fat lady with red hair ended up laughing at us while talking and making fun. They shouldn’t be working there if they don’t have patience to treat people nicely.
