Accent Orthodontics

I've never been to accent orthodontics, however, around 15 years ago now in Smithers BC I had Dr Bleau give me braces to fix the gap in my front teeth and to fix my overbite. He installed a herbst appliance to fix my overbite and did a horrible job. Before my mom and I even left the parking lot, the appliance fell apart and we went back in to get it fixed just to find out that he had already left and jumped on his plane to Calgary. With smithers being such a small town we couldn't find anyone to fix it properly. I wore it for 6 weeks and during that time I could only eat soft foods and I had to take it apart to do so. It also tore up the inside of my mouth so I had to constantly put wax on it to try to prevent it. After 6 weeks of being called a robot it was finally taken out (Just the herbst appliance was removed. I still had braces for 2 more years after the appliance) because both my parents and I had enough. It's been around 15 years and I still have my overbite and the gap in my teeth. My parents wasted 3500 dollars for nothing. I wouldn't never recommend Dr Bleau to anyone.. He did a horrible job and seemed rushed to catch his flight back to Calgary

A considerable amount of work was done on my child's teeth, but the wires were constantly popping off and getting embedded in her cheek. Her braces were removed and I was told she was done. 3 years later I was angered to find out (through a different ortho) that she still has a bad overbite AND now a crossbite that wasn't there before. Need to pay several thousand more for an expander (which Dr Bleau doesn't do), a bite corrector and more braces. My child was discharged without me being made aware of these issues and it's almost too late to fix even fix them.On top of that, he was always very rude and condescending to my child and I. I gave 2 stars because *some* work was done, but I certainly wouldn't recommend Dr Bleau to anyone.

Accent orthodontics are always on time and very Covid conscious. The staff are always very friendly and easy to deal with. I recommend them to everyone.

Dr Bleau provides an excellent care for my daughter and her program for her braces. The nurses are very attentive and the receptionist Jennifer is very helpful. My daughter looks forward to her appointments.

Poor service and communication amongst staff. Had to call and email numerous times to get retainer fixed after being installed incorrectly... they tried to charge me for the repair after stating it was covered and after not returning numerous calls and emails. Louise who works for Dr. Bleau is great, other than that poor communication amongst staff and Dr.Bleau cares more about your money than the quality of job. Go anywhere but here.

I have a great experience at Accent Orthodontics and my daughter saw quick progress. Every time a bracket will break off due to biting on something hard or the wire would come loose or break, they will always find a time to schedule it in ASAP. Once the braces were removed and my daughter started using retainers, it was replaced for free when it once broke. Dr. Bleau explained everything at the start and things went as planned. Jennifer was super nice and was able to schedule almost all the appointments just using text messages.Based on my experience, I highly recommend Accent Orthodontics.

My daughter and i always leave the clinic with a smile on our face. Dr. Bleau and all of his staff are very friendly and accommodating.

This office is really good, they have been really great at getting us in if there is a problem with my daughter's braces, calm environment, kind staff, great experience with braces so far!

We are on child number two going through braces with accent orthodontics and they are still the best in Calgary. They are honest, fair and if anything happens, they always make a way to be seen as soon as possible. Their front of house staff are very professional and kind. Their orthodontist assistants are kind and compassionate.We hight recommend Accent Orthodontics for all your braces needs in Calgary, Alberta.

Recently moved to Calgary from Montreal. Just asked around the neighbourhood to see where I should get my Orthodontics work done. Luckily I went to Accent... From start to finish, the experience was awesome. They booked me in right away for an exam to see what I needed done. Everyone was super smiley" the whole time. I guess they all like working there! The work done was really spectacular. I always recommend Dr Bleau!"
