Annie has helped a number of times with accepting injured and desperate birds from me. Her compassion and wisdom are amazing, and I have great admiration for her. She is down-to-earth and her extensive experience with the natural world is matched by her education. Connecting with Annie is always the best part of my day. This is the charity I support above all others.

I brought Annie a very premature bird that I found in our lawn. She was very kind on the phone and explained to me how to best transport it and that I could come anytime to drop him off. When I arrived and passed on the bird, her care was so kind and it was very obvious that she had an abundance of knowledge and compassion for these creatures. So amazing that we have an individual in our city that can care for these baby birds and is willing to take them into her care! Unfortunately I learned that the little one that I gave her was not compatible with life however I feel so reassured that he received love and care and was given the best fighting chance for his life at the Warren Peace Bunny Sanctuary! Thank you, Annie for your compassion towards our Okanagan wildlife; particularly birds!

I had an injured quail that needed rest and recuperation. The local SPCA was useless. They took one glance at it, no examination, and just told me to have it put down by my vet. The vet clinic gave me the name and number of their wildlife guy"; he told me about Warren Peace sanctuary and what town it was in. But he told me to find it in the phone book even though I was roaming around in my car. After running into a couple of businesses a young man working at the Rail Trail Cafe was kind enough to help me find the phone number.I called Annie and she told me to come right over. She examined the quail right away and decided he had a good chance of recovery. I was very impressed with her knowledge and experience.She helps injured and orphaned birds and wildlife. God bless her. I will be sending her monthly donations
