I absolutely love this place, I own over 10 of their bikinis and and would never buy anywhere else. The colours are so beautiful and the fabrics are of such good quality. Hands down the sexiest little bikini shop in Toronto.

Went to the shop today and it's gone.

I had been thinking about purchasing bathing suits from this store for a while and finally convinced myself to purchase multiple bathing suits to bring me out of the covid blues. There is SO MANY ISSUES WITH THIS STORE. DO NOT ORDER!. First, if you are from Canada this store DOES NOT EXIST! Everyday it claims to open at its store downtown Toronto but there is actually no location in Canada anymore. You are actually ordering bathing suits from Paris, France... which I found out when I obviously did not get next day shipping. So, after waiting a few days to get my bathing suits I frantically started to try to contact the store. No answer anywhere. The telephone number doesn't exist, they didn't respond on Facebook or instagram, my voicemail... and finally after a few more days they responded to the random info email I had somewhere on a receipt. They explained they didn't ship my bathing suits because the ones I ordered online were OUT OF STOCK... so they took my money and never contacted me to change the sizes or swimsuits. Finally after I contacted them and we sorted out new bathing suits that were in stock and (they actually gave me a free bathing suit too), they put my order on priority shipping. Well, of course it got LOST on the way and I had to contact Chronopost myself. Well, no one speaks English because its French transportation service but it was very difficult to talk to a robot to find out where my package actually was. Finally, I got my order after 2 weeks (when it was supposed to be the next day), and some of the sizes were WRONG. So, now I can't even wear the bathing suits I paid for because they messed that up too. CUTE BATHING SUITS (BUT SIZING IS SMALL) AND I WOULD NEVER EVER SUGGET ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!

Thought I would let anyone else know not to waste their time. This place closed a long time ago, nothing is there, don't waste your time .

The store is fully stocked with the most awesome Brazilian bikinis and cover ups! So many prints, styles, and colors.... LDB is the only swimwear shop that can make my g/f want to wear a Brazilian cut! The store is neatly organized and spread out and the prices are very reasonable. They have an assortment of styles, so be prepared to spend some time in the store finding your perfect fit for your g/f.

My wife is a bikini lover. She buys bikinis everywhere we go.She always had a hard time finding sexy swimwear in Toronto until we came across Lumieres de baia on Instagram..from the moment we saw their pictures and all their reposts of happy clients wearing their bikinis, we knew this was a special store.We have been shopping at their store for the past 3 years, and we are very pleased with their services and products. The sales people really know their bikinis, we received great advice on color and style. They are very helpful.I recommend it to anyone looking to purchase Bikinis.

I was completely scammed at Lumieres de Baia and I would not recommend purchasing anything from the store. The worker at the Queen Street store in Toronto overcharged me for a bikini. He sold it to me for $119 when the price online was $99. The majority of bikinis in the store conveniently don't have price tags so that they can make up whatever prices they want. I went back to the store to complain and the worker was very sketchy and could not give me a logical reason as to why the bikini was being sold for more in store. I asked if I could return the bikini and he said it wasn't hygienic to return an unworn bathing suit which doesn't make any sense considering he allowed me to try on multiple brand new bikinis before my original purchase. I am extremely disgusted by my treatment at this store and will not be giving these scammers any more money than they've already made profiting off of innocent consumers.

UPDATE: No more physical store. Went there and they’re no more. Doesn’t say that anywhere, waste of my time today. Thx.Teeny store for teeny bikinis. If you like small Brazilian cuts, this is where to come - you don’t find these anywhere else in the city, just online. Prices are a bit high, but that's just what you pay these days, and they have good sales, so pop in often and you might get lucky. Varied selection for diff tastes. Also, they can order stuff in...

I have been shopping at LDB for the past 4 years. They have moved every single year and I just found them back yesterday on Queen St where their got started! The store fully stocked with lovely Brazilian bikinis that you just can’t find anywhere else in Toronto. Good quality label, decent prices, I really enjoy shopping with them!
