Tons of products which are hard to find in other grocery stores. Price are really competitive. They even have lychee jelly in stock.

They have Strawberry Fanta! Such a large store with a massive variety of items at really low prices. A case of distilled water is like 2.99 here. Amazing!

Great establishment, you can find everything in this store for great prices in bulk. They have varieties of ethnic food options!! Absolutely loved going through each aisle to see their kitchen items to their freezer and drinks section. They have lots of halal meat in bulk as well. We will definitely be returning back

Great variety and stock for business owners. Felt like some items are priced little more compared to other competitors for individual buyer. The employee at cashier was great.

I bought $422 of goods but realized I was overcharged. I returned to have them correct the error. I asked for an item which cost the same as the difference, to save time. Instead of helping, the manager was rude and asked me to never come back. You’ve lost my business.

I was denied entry to this establishment because I use a service dog, they were extremely rude, discriminatory, uneducated, unprofessional, not just an employee but the owner too, right from the moment I entered! Do not even grace this establishment with your business, especially if you use a guide/service dog so your life can be easier, because they will discriminate against you because they are so uneducated on the laws/rules not only here in Ottawa, Ontario, but all over Canada.I have every right to be upset! If the option was available to me I wouldn’t give any stars for this place.Read below and educate yourself and your staff!“It is emphasized that service cannot be denied to persons with disabilities who use service animals. Organizations have a legal obligation under the Code not to refuse a person entry or access to a building, premise, good or service on the basis that the person uses a service animal. What are the rules in Ontario for residents with service animals?Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code, service animals are allowed in a variety of public settings, including restaurants, grocery stores and taxis, unless animals are specifically banned by law. However, even in the instances where animals are prohibited, officials said businesses and groups “should provide another way for the person to access their goods, services or facilities.”In order to meet the Ontario government’s definition of a service animal, guidelines stated it must be “easily identifiable as relating to [a person’s disability] (the noted example included an animal wearing a vest that identifies it as a service animal).Alternatively, a document from a regulated health professional (e.g. audiologist, physician, surgeon, psychologist, psychotherapist etc.) outlining how the animal is needed because of a disability can also be used.Certificates and identity cards aren’t required.According to an Ontario Human Rights Commission spokesperson, the body issued a policy on ableism and discrimination based on disability in 2016 and as part of its guidance on making accommodations to respond to the needs of people with disabilities, rules on guide dogs and service animals are among the options.“People with disabilities who use service animals to assist them with disability-related needs (such as anxiety) are also protected under the definition of ‘disability’ in section 10 of the [Ontario Human Rights Code]. Service animals do not have to be trained or certified by a recognized disability-related organization,” the policy said.“However, where it is not immediately obvious that the animal is performing a disability-related service, a person must be able to show evidence (such as a letter from a doctor or other qualified medical professional) that they have a disability and that the animal assists with their disability-related needs.” “

Not allowing a SERVICE DOG in your establishment is ILLEGAL!!.A service dog is even allowed in a restaurant.I see a law suit in your near future.Educate yourself on the rights of disabled people and their service animals .Talk about ignorance ...We won't be doing business for our 3 restaurants here.

Dear Ottawa citizens. This is my first time writing a review. Yesterday I made a significant purchase at Chef’s Depot. One of the items was frozen breaded chicken breast filets. I made one single piece to make sure it was something I can serve at my daughter’s bridal shower. It was a very poor quality and rubbery. The very next day I called to speak to a manager. When I expressed my experience he was dismissive, cold and didn’t care in the least. Did not offer a solution or offer an apology. Just said that they don’t take back frozen products with attitude. This place is not worth it. Rude and poor handling of clients. Go to the Costco business centre across the street.

I was surprised how much stuff available. Huge inventory and prices are good. Mostly for restaurants or businesses or events but also for individuals. No membership required.
