I've always heard not the greatest things about the Catholic School System in Ontario from family members who have been in the York Region school board for over 30 yrs. I'm so disappointed to have experienced just how bad this school is when my kids were enrolled there for just 10 days and were promptly pulled out after hearing that it seems like if your kids are not Italian it can be very unwelcoming. My kids are young and innocent to the realities of the world and when they come home saying that the teacher was asking students and high-fiving them when asked if they were Italian I was pretty horrified. Even more so after a school coordinator in the public school my kids now go to said she has heard many bad things from other parents in the community about this school for years now. So parents with kids of different ethnicity beware of this school, you are doing them a disservice by sending them here. Simply put your kids are much better off in the public school system there is more diversity, to prepare them for the real world" friendlier teachers and unlimited resources available that the Catholic school system can't complete with. Seeing that the Catholic system has a history of just sweeping unsavoury incidents under the rug and pretending like it doesn't happen I have no faith that things will ever change here."

As a parent with a child there currently, I can honestly say this school is excellent! From the teachers, to the admin, to the secretaries, I only have positive things to say. As a parent, I feel very involved in my child’s learning experience and my son has been blessed with such wonderful teachers.
