Westwood Fine Cabinetry

Overall I am very happy with the quality of the cabinets. Everything was packaged very professionally, Somewhat of a question when hardware was asked for, they were happy to accomodate. Some communication issues in the beginning, Mary Lou was very accomodating once we we able to text. Some discrepancy about a stain color, in the end Westwood exceeded my expectations and replaced trim work in the maple which was not on the work order. My overall feeling about the company of staff is that they are eager to please. This was an add on, so the second time I have done business with this company and I would do business with them again.Thank youLeeKendraAnnetteMary Lou

We have nothing but praise for the service levels at Westwood, From Mary Lou designing us the most functional and beautiful kitchen to the Service Staff completing the post installation adjustments everyone was a joy to work with. $100,000 certainly doesn't buy good design or quality workmanship. The design is bizarre, unless you like cheap hardware and drawers that are under 3 deep. The installation was an unmitigated disaster. The manager flat out refuses to address the useless drawers

We used Westwood to redesign our kitchen in the fall of 2022. Not only are the cabinets beautiful and the design process fairly painless, but the after install service and response to deficiencies has been exceptional. We highly recommend them.

Aesthetically westwood cabinets are lovely. Where they lack is the all important functionality. We assumed that choosing the most expensive of the cabinet quotes that we received meant we would be more than pleased. However, beware their pan drawers are overall 2.5 inches more shallow than our original cabinets. The upper drawer is a full 1.5 inches more shallow . Which means even a basic ladle or spatula will jam up the drawer on a regular basis. Everything has to be laid in a precise way or the drawer jams. Already had many broken and damaged items. The middle and bottom drawers do not fit our pots and pans the same as our last cabinets so in fact we have much less space then the many cabinets would seem. A half inch on the bottom drawers may not seem like much but when it jams a pot handle and you cant stack them like before you lose space. Because there wasn't a showroom near us we just took for granted there would be an industry standard in size. As well when they did not make 1 of the cabinets to the specified custom design they offered nothing but a replacement cabinet in 4 months time , which obviously in a kitchen reno doesn't work. So we had to shift the whole cabinet wall by 3 inches. Not ideal. Buyer beware. Extremely disappointed. Would not purchase again.P.S. if you are reading this review to get real information about the company just know that the company's reply was just for show. We emailed them and never received a reply. The drawer depth will forever be a major disappointment in our $27,000 cabinets!

Originally Westwood did our new kitchen it was a disaster. They delivered our cabinets 3 weeks late so we moved in with-out a kitchen. The installation was a mess, they sent 2 guys that were in the flooring installation business 2 weeks earlier and now these guys were installing kitchens what a joke. It had to be totally removed and re-installed. They lost all my handles/hardware $1000. worth, and told me I probably stole them, well I only own 1 house so what would I need handles/hardware for. The painter found them in the dumpster a week later with all the cardboard from Westwood. The bottoms of my cupboards are different colors so some are white and some are wood colored. Recently we had a flood and I needed a new end gable made and a strip of filler to make the repair. It took about 5 month to get my gable because they made it wrong 5 times LOL and another 2 month to get my 1 piece of filler strip because they forget it. Tommie award what a joke. Save yourself the heart attack get your kitchen made elsewhere.

Just moved into my new home and we are very happy with our kitchen, bath and mud room cabinets! This company is the worst! They are slow in attempting to resolve any issues, even if the mistakes are their fault. They quickly resort to Warranty" which leaves you in a position to wait

The high level of customer service and experience is hard to beat at Westwood. Like all custom work, it's challenging and at times hard to predict timelines so anyone doing this for the first time needs to just let the process happen and be patient. We worked with Darrell for several months both in person and via email to draft up our dream kitchen design. Our architect had a different kitchen layout spec'd. However due to Darrell's extensive experience both as a builder and cabinet maker, he made a suggestion that really changed our kitchen layout for the better. We also live 3.5 hours away and Westwood still took on our job even though it meant a couple of wasted days driving up here and measuring or installing. It was great to get a detailed CAD drawing showing us what the design looks like in 3D (four other companies couldn't do that let alone return a phone call). When the cabinets arrived we were just thrilled with how they turned out. It took around 9 months to complete the job but we built that into our timeline. Quality work is worth waiting for. I'd recommend anyone wanting a high end kitchen contact Westwood first.
